Quick Question on Shops/Armor

Well I've come to notice a lot of sets of armor never ever show up in shops, and oddly I do not understand why.

I've been trying to get Green Tunic's over mail for some of my companions so they can look more Rhodok'ish since I love having a Uniformed Army.

Issue being the only way I can get those Tunic over Mail sets of armor is to fight Rhodok SharpShooters and Veteran Spearmen, again issue being I've rarely found any Rhodok deserters in some games to get them, and I'm a member of Rhodok so I can not fight Rhodok.

Question being, is there a simple way to modify them into the shops as randomly spawned shop items like everything else through edit mode?  And if so anyone a good teacher to give me some simple instructions how?  hehe

Morghs text editor find the item you want and edit one of the values the first one after cost I think and the higher that goes the more of the item there is.

As bonez899 said, use Morghs tools. It is a very easy to use program, very intuitive. Find the Green Tunic in the Items section, see if it has the "Merchandise" tag marked (if not, mark it) and then add a high Abundance number, so it will be more common in shops.

Is that Tool easy to find?  I guess I can just search for it.  There are some female formal wear I might want to add as well since I find it annoying at feast I can not dress up. lol

If this works I wish I could give you both an Italian beef sandwich.  hehe

Another way may be to enable cheats and use Camp->Cheat Menu->Find An Item.  It actually works like a shop, anything you take from there is paid for.  But Morgh's editor is a pretty damn cool utility.  Can do quite a bit with it and there's documentation.

In the original M&B, I mess with the item_kinds.txt-file (it's a .txt-file there), to get some... dresses I want for some companions. I don't know wether or not it's a .txt-file in WB too, but if it is, you can chance the second number anfter the names of the item (first number will be a 0) into a number of an item already for sale.
Works always for me (although the ladies in the castles now are in their underwear...).

Problem with the Cheat Menu is you don´t get items with modifiers (Masterwork, Lordly...).

Well I finally have the tool working though I'm running into problems on how to use it for what I want use it for.  I dunno how to use the tool to do that in short.  I checked their website and I've yet to find anything that refers to adding things to the shops.

Ya I see no way to use it to change that, there is no change on that editor between items seen in stores and items which do not show up in stores.  Something other than editing the items must be involved.

Well I feel stupid I think I found out what changes it but I can not figure out how to get it to save if when I check a box.

Now all i can do is play for a while and see if they appear.  Added a few other NPC Lord only sets as well and dresses... so there is a high chance I might see something not normally sold. xD

.... wow WORKS!  Dresses appeared.    Yep it seems you click the "merchendice Merchencise? I think it's Merchencise"  hehe
