Quick question about mods

So, I downloaded the "War Getting Worse" mod due to the fact that it looked very good.  Upon installing, however, I do not notice a change (other than the fact that firearm noises are much louder and more percussive, which I like).  I installed it into the module folder as it says on the thread.

And you chose the War Getting Worse mod from the launcher, rather than 'Native', when you started WFaS?
