Locke was an English philosopher, not sure about Eko, and Dharma is an Indian religious term that's used to explain the higher reality of the universe.
Personally I think Jesus should have kept his nose out of other peoples business. I don't want other people atoning for my sins, I'm perfectly capable of doing it for myself.
And theologans disagree on wether he DID it for everyone or his "elect".
So mabey you might get lucky and he didn't atone for your sins. Im not sure how human beings can save themselves, I am really dienfranchised with human nature.

I disagree with the whole concept of "sins" or "salvation". Things shouldn't be seen as wrong because it's written in some old book, and people shouldn't need "saving".
I just find the whole idea of somebody else taking responsibility for my sins as entirely patronising. 'Cos let's face it, if Jesus is claiming all my sins for himself, and God is the driving force of Good, then what's left of me?
What do I have to feel guilty about? It's guilt-free living over here.

Understadable, but unfortunately how "we" see things in life often doesn't count for ****e when we're at a lower part of the hierarchy. There is always an authority exercising its power over us, be it the police, kings or governments. We must pay tax, we must adhere to laws and when our time comes we must die.
One thing is for sure, authority is usually frowned upon from below.
