I was not talking about the relation you have with your wife, but about the personality type.... whether she is ambitious, conventional, romantic or hunting type... does it change anything?

I have the same question. From what I've read it only effects what poems she likes and her response to the tourny being dedicated to her. Some people have said they got RtR from marrying, and I wonder if having an ambitious wife gives that RtR.

Seriously though, it would be nice to make the level of relation matter. Adding more options perhaps -- and no, I mean options in the sense of more quests, more ways of improving your standing with other lords, etc. Maybe if it got really high you'd get a bonus in persuading her relatives to do things for you. Just throwing ideas out.

If you ask them if you two have a future and they say, "I like you but daddy would never approve so we should just quit" or whatever the equivalent is, then you have to either
a. stop the courtship
b. say you will convince daddy/brother/uncle/whichever
c. suggest eloping, at which point she tells you she doesn't want to walk all over and fight bad guys so you need a castle.
If you stop the courtship they stop sending for you. You can still visit them and they still mention they think fondly of your visits in a whisper.

Related to the above, assuming the person is not married off is it ever possible to start again a courtship through feasts etc. with someone that you have broken it off with?
