Question for pro :P

Hi, my question is for the Veteran of this mod, where did you found your qualis Gem ?  Whats the best way for me to get some, i just found 2 and one of them was in Rane (already mentioned into the FAQ)

If you take any of the special spawns captive and talk to them, you will get an option to let them go in exchange for a qualis gem.  Easiest one to capture is probably Wulfbode since his army is pretty weak.

If you have good relation with the noldor, you can join their tournament which takes places the first four days of each month. the reward is the usual money you get from bets and additionally a qualis gem or some high quality noldor equipment which otherwise you'd have to by from quigfen for a lot of money.

There is the chest in Rane that has one and the lair of thieves from the rumors quest will have one. Always ask about rumors.  The Noldor tournaments always reward a nice item, sometimes better than a gem!  Lordly Noble armor from my last tournament, out of 5 tournaments I only had a gem rewarded once and I'm ok with that

I hate to be the one to say this, but if you read the FAQ at the top of the forums in the stickied section you can find exactly where to get those gems and how to use them.

thanks evryone, and for the FAQ, it doenst say evrything (thats normal, the GM wont give all the secret  ) I never saw about those Noldor tournament in the FAQ hihihi. Well, thanks evryone, im gonna try to find some more and try to improve my relation with Noldor

And is it enough when their are Suportive towards me for those tournaments or i need more relation with them ?  (I think im near 25-30 positive relation)

Play and find out! ..

Think about it for a second, "Noldor" tourmnaments right? So, where are Tournaments usually held in PoP? Towns right?...

So what conclusion can you draw from that?

Pro Tip: Keep on getting your rep up with Noldor, and do the eventual quests you get from the Noldor Merchant that's in the Laria Tavern..

Yea, i know where are the tournaments, but i thought those tournament could be held in a particular city or a mysterious one that i havent found (maybe something like a lair...) 

Well, thanks for this and for the Noldor quest, i never saw any one for now, but im gonna check it more often now

Well, im at 100 relation with Noldor, the only quest they give me is to hunt a jutu army (wich they are 600+ while the biggest army i can handle is 180) Plz some one, dont tell me i need to do this quest before getting into their tournaments !!!

Because ive searched each city for their tournaments on the 4th of the month and havent see any tournaments from them

If you got the quest from the Noldor guy in Laria, the Jatu army you are looking for should be mission-color blue (and not the normal Jatu color). It should be about 150-250 in size.

Easy enough to take out with a few rangers and legionaires. Just follow them around till they hit the forest and then ambush them. If you are lucky, you might even be able to lead a Noldor army to help you kill the Jatu.

oh realy?  because i saved, tryed it and the only Jutu army found were the 3 already in place with more then 600...  Nice to know, thanks a lot man (i wont waste too many times on that )

There are three qualis gems you can get just by listening gossips from travelers in taverns (especially when they have special offer for you). Oh, actually if you smart enough and will listen to them carefully you can even get fourth and fifth - which are eastern eggs.

Yeah.. those don't seem to spawn if you import though. They are there everytime with a new character though.

Yea maybe, but its hard for me to realy understand what they say in tavern...  my english is not so good, and those thing that theuy say are a litle confused for me

The only thing i know, is lots of them keep talking to me about some mystmountain that was looking for me or has seen a black cat or dunno what and he wasnt drunk lol

Well in 300 days, with this imported character, I've never received a gem through rumors, which is where the gem in Valonbray comes from, and the gem from the bandit camp. and a few other gems come through rumors.

If I start a new character, they are all there, but importing, and the gems don't spawn through rumors. At least not that I've seen.

They don't spawn throug rumors at all. They always laying in these chests - so you can just go and take them either if you got "treasure map" or not. Treasure map spawns only other loot (treasure chests and so).

The only gem I know of that doesn't "spawn" is the gem in Rane. It's there day one of the game. The other gems are "spawned" randomly through rumors. Without the rumor trigger, the gem in Valonbray, or the bandit camp won't be there... or the other gems that come through rumors won't be there either. They are just not there. Period.

I can still get gems through capping hero spawns, Noldor tournys and such.
