Is anyone else getting seeing that all the lords and garrisons are stacked with only the highest ranking troops. Ex: 161 Swadian Knights in Dhirim. Also 100 Sharpshooters and 50 Sergeants, and no lower ranking troops.

I can't remember exactly, but I think I read that it was a bug. Apparently, a line in the code is causing lord parties to have more high level troops than low level, when it should be the other way around.

Yes, they should have elite troops.

What doesn't make sense is the fact that they are all elite. Including the lord parties.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't find it fun to go against a lord party or siege a castle that has all elite units. Now if I want to do anything I have to gather a large army, and then get them all to top level before I can do anything.

Scripted XP events are still giving to much XP. The per kill xp is still the same but the XP bonus for winning the battle, completing quest, day's training complete is very high.

It really is.

I got a bunch of Swadian recruits, went to the training grounds, and after a few matches of sparring, they were all knights.

All must be elite, lord armies must be very stong.
That is not very logical. Just make troops overall better skilled, or give the lords bigger armies if you want a challenge. All-elite armies are stupid, if everyone is elite, there is no elite.

Very wise words Cumandante.

That said, lords should have a larger percent of higher-tier troops as the character levels up. Perhaps like in native, where lords gain quantity, but now quality as well.

This is still present in .672, and really a pain.

I'm not sure how well that would do. I mean, if you want a serious challenge I'm sure you could go into the files and edit it so that enemy lords have all elite troops, but I for one wouldn't like that.

I would personally like to see it where enemy lords have to recruit troops like the player does (or they could just start out with a high number of recruits), and those recruits would be upgraded when possible (such as if the lord has the trainer skill, and when his party wins a battle). That way, you have lord parties that have a high number of troops, but not all of them are elite. When you have lords with high trainer skill that wins a lot of battles, those lords will have all elite troops.

I know at the start of this message I said I didn't like the idea of lords having all elite troops, or lords that had parties that grew in quantity and quality based on your level, but what I said is different. With my idea, lord parties don't have an unfair advantage over the player party (they don't automatically get a big party with the best units, nor do they get a party that goes up in both quantity and quality as the player levels up). It also doesn't give the player an unfair advantage, as they would be leveling up the same way the player does, and that is by training and fighting.

What are your thoughts on that?
