[Question/bug?] Financing Spouses Party

Hi there, first time i post on the forums!

First off i really enjoy this game, and i have been lucky not to run into many bugs.

My question:

I managed to marry a nobles daughter, who happens to be leading her own army, going about raiding all the time.

Now after we got married i noticed i got a new expense, besides having to pay her armys wages.
Apparently i have to "help finance her party". I assume this is the building of her army, in case she needs troops.

When we got married, her army had just been wiped, so she had to rebuild it from scratch. That meant i had to pay her 1000 denars daily, + her army wages.
Now i managed to marry quite early, and that may have been the mistake, since i hold no fiefs or any means of passive income. I did not expect such expenses though. This means that i am basically running from tournament to tournament, to finance this, no breaks for doing anything else.
Luckily its gotten down to 300 daily now, and still falling, but it seems quite expensive to me, must really be some solid troops she is recruiting.

And ofc it leaves me scared that she might get wiped again, and i then have to finance a new army...

So is this intended, or are the prices a bit bugged? to me it seems like a pretty high expense?
I haven't been able to find anyway to limit/tweak this expense, and for what i can see, you cannot make her join your army instead, so that she doesn't have to have her own army?

Any of you guys run in to the same issue, or found a solution?

Edit: If i gotta finance all her stuff, maybe i should get a cut of her spoils?

Yes i did, all i had to was get the 3 questions right, twice, and then offer her family something of value. I ended up paying 2.5k Denars for the marriage.

If you go into the clan tab you should be able to disband her party and instead put her in your own party

Some kind of expense limit/management would be nice. But I laughed quite a bit at your post

It's no bug. When you marry someone the spouse becomes part of your clan, it's no different than when you create another party using one of your tavern companions. You can dissolve the spouse's party and absorb her into your party so you don't have to pay any more wages.

You can get "married" but it's nothing more than a barter screen with your perspective wife's clan leader after you pass several random checks while "courting."

Yea, I married her too and although I'm paying her party wages, her party is actually making money somehow so at the end of every day I get an overall profit from her party!

Perhaps @Alkonkewl just married the wrong woman.

I think he married someone with expensive tastes. Its definitely normal and not a bug. At this point maybe i should get married cause im sitting on 100k at all times. If you have 2 or 3 fiefs it will cover 1k a day

Damn. I'll have to keep an eye open, I had no idea this was possible.

Once you can fight a lords army of 100 troops alone you make 10k plus in loot per fight. Early game the way to do it is to be a mercanary and join an army and youll get a cut of large fights loot.
