Question about topic moving.

I've recently been wondering if the post count is reduced when you move a topic from where post counts count, to somewhere where post counts don't count. If not, shouldn't it be done so that when a topic is moved, 1 post count is removed from every post there?

I don't think postcount is reduced by that, no. I can also tell you without even looking that there's definitely no easy way to implement that if it is the case.

Honestly, who really cares? If someone is being a post-count whore, and violating the intended framework intentionally, I'm sure that they will be banned for it eventually.

I haven't seen many new topics made by Janus, but his count is very high.

If you check the statistics page, you'll notice that Janus spends the second most time on this forum, so naturally he has seen more threads in the wrong boards, and moved countless topics, leaving only "This thread has been moved to..." threads behind.

Go to the main page. Scroll down. Look for the bar that contains info about how many people are online, how many topics there have been, etc. Click on [More stats].
