Recruit
Today, I defeated by Sultan Hakim's troop and he stole my training +1 book.

Few days later, I killed Hakim but, he didn't have my book!!

I met a book seller in traven several times, thay also didn't have my training book.

Where can I find my training book? I really need that book T_T

The game will only store the first 5 items (and modifiers) in party slots whenever you lose a battle. This means that if you lost more than 5 items after being defeated, then those items are considered effectively lost.

If you really want your book back, enable the cheatmenu, and go to the Find Item option in  the cheat menu while in camp.

no need to worry, i found your book...

Well, you know the Sarranids and paper... it was probably used for something other than reading!

on a similar note, i found the enemy just after they had raided a village, i chased him down, defeated him and he didn't have any loot from the village, which is rather strange...

Not really. It's not like the ai has to recruit or pay for troops. I don't think the ai has any items in inventory unless they capture and loot a player.

They just raid to be a pain in the ass, and maybe to score war points. Anyone know if a faction can 'gain the upper hand in the fighting' thru raiding alone?

true, would be nice if the enemy carried the loot though, would slow them down as it does you...

"Ancient Iranians built Qanats and Yakhchal to provide and keep water. The first windmill appeared in Iran in the 9th century.[203] Iranians contributed significantly to the current understanding of astronomy, natural science, medicine, mathematics, and philosophy. Khwarizmi is widely hailed as the father of algebra. Ethanol (alcohol) was first identified by Persian alchemists such as Muhammad ibn Zakarīya Rāzi. Throughout the Middle Ages, the natural philosophy and mathematics of the Ancient Greeks and Persians were furthered and preserved within Persia. The Academy of Gundishapur was a renowned centre of learning in the city of Gundeshapur during late antiquity and was the most important medical centre of the ancient world during the sixth and seventh centuries.[204] During this period, Persia became a centre for the manufacture of scientific instruments, retaining its reputation for quality well into the 19th century." form Wiki : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persia

Remember Renaissance 14th-17th century, when europe wakes up from a dream of stone age compared to above.
