So I am playing latest Warband with Floris Expanded mod.
I am complete new to this game, but thanks to many FAQ and guides, I am doing and enjoying quite well.
How could such a brilliant game slip through my radar for so many years?

But now I have a problem.
I am trying my first siege.
I did the following:
Besiege castle - > entrench your camp->build ladders->ask the commander to surrender->assault
So far so good.
My archers killed off some defenders on the walls.
Now i want to climb the walls, but there are no ladders?  :shock:
When I order my infantry and dismounted to charge, they all run half around the castle and try to enter the front gate tower and get wiped out...

Is there a "special" order to make the ladders visible?
If i read through the guides correctly, the ladders should be there from the beginning...

Any suggestions?

It's unique to the castle "scene," the unique game map each fief gets.  Some castles with "ladders" really are just an open gate, some have ladders or ramps on a second wall, some have legitimate stepped ladders, and so on.  There are a couple of mods that add siege options, but in Native, Floris, and most others, you're stuck with what that one castle tells you to do.  The ladders/siege tower timer is just to add a vulnerable period before you launch your assault.
