Question About Installer

I really hate to ask this question, especially since so many people have figured it out already, but the directions say this:

then apply the 0.5 patch to the 0.4 installer

So am I supposed to upgrade to 0.4, then remove everything but 1257ad_0.95_4.exe, then move the contents of the 0.5 download into that directory and run runit.bat?  Or do I just upgrade to 0.4, remove everything but the original 1257ad_0.95.exe, and THEN move the contents of the 0.5 download into that directory and run runit.bat?  Which files do I need in the directory to properly upgrade?

Well all you need is the 1257ad_0.95_4.exe and put it in the 0.5 folder and run runit.bat
