Question about importing/exporting characters

Ok, so i've seen people talking about importing an exporting characters from other save games, im asking about four things

First thing: How do i export/import a character an do i need the module system (i dont have it)

Second thing: Can importing be done from mod to mod such as i want to import my native character to Prophecy of Pendor and what side effects are there

Third thing: Do i have troops and items from the previous character.

Fourth thing (last one): WHERE IS THE SECTION ABOUT THIS! I've been looking for a while and i couldn't find it

First thing:  You don't need the module system.  You select the "Statistics" button in your character screen.  Then, you select export.  This will create a text file with all of your character's attributes, skills, etc.  Then, all you have to do, is start a new game, with a new character, name the character the same as the name of the previous character, go to the statistics button again, and select import.  It's very easy.

Second thing:  I think typically there shouldn't be a problem there, unless a certain skill has been changed in the different mod, in which case the equivalent skill will have the same point value assigned for that slot that your previous character had.

Third thing:  No.  But you do have the gold.

Fourth thing:  I know this has been mentioned before, but I haven't bothered to find it.
