Hello

I would like to know if anyone has any problems with buying the game on internet...

It says that afther you payed for it you will be redirected to a page that shows the key and the key will be also mailed to the adres you gave them.

I'm just wurried that the serial key will NOT appear and NOT be sended to my e-mailadres.

Is this 100% save?

Where are you buying it from?

I'm buying it from http://www.taleworlds.com/mb_buy_en.html

I will click the link Click here to buy Mount&Blade from Taleworlds Webstore.

And then click buy

Regards

I for one have never had a problem buying from Taleworlds, and  no one has ever expressed a problem.

Hi, Did you also buy it from the internet shop of taleworlds?

Or did you buy it in a retail shop...

Do you think its 100% save to buy from the internetstore of taleworlds?

Regards

I bought my key over the internet some time ago (11/23/2005) from Taleworlds Entertainment and I had no problems.
In my opinion it is the fastest way to get the game.

I've never heard of any issues either, I think it's completely safe. I bought it from taleworlds store, and no problems. I trust them more than most other online retailers.

Edit: In any case, you shouldn't let your worries deter you from getting the game. If you don't trust online retailers, which I fully understand, you could just buy it retail instead, as others have said.

If you don't want to buy it from their site... don't. Go to Direct2Drive or Steam and get it there. But I think you're being silly because Taleworlds website is PERFECTLY capable and safe to do a transaction through. But if you don't believe us (and no one here has ever posted that they didn't get a key since I've been around) then try those other two places I listed. They may even run a special and you can get it cheaper.

I've never had a problem downloading through Taleworlds. That was for either v. 0.903 or v. 0.960. Not sure if it's changed or not. Only problem is that the patches are rather big, as they're the entire game (but you need to activate it if you download it from TaleWorlds with the activation key you bought). Sorry if I made it less clear.

I bought it via steam...

Same. I did have a CD key problem but it was solved within a couple hours. They basically released the client without attaching CD keys to them. That's been a problem that hasn't come up again.

I had no problem with it and I think its 100% save to buy from Taleworlds online store. I bought the game last summer.

I bought a retail version from buy.com, you can always try that if you'd prefer a physical copy. Although, you'd have to pay shipping and handling.

I've downloaded the demo from Steam and I was wondering if it matters where to buy the cd-key. Can I buy it at the talesworld webstore or do I have to buy it from Steam, because I downloaded it there?

The activation window will pop up asking for a CD key. If you provide a retail key it should work fine. The only problem is I don't think Steam will save the key. So if you delete it from Steam or have a computer issue where it's deleted, then Steam wont automatically apply the key. If you get it from Steam, everytime you download it to your client, it saves the key associated with the account.

I would not worry if doesn't show up. You just have to contact armagan and he will help you get it.
