quest-the revenge; the alliance

hello i was hoping someone could help me out. im on this quest called The Revenge; The Alliance that tells me to give a letter to a king but when i try to give it to him he says that hes not a "scribe" and give it to his brother. but when i go to his brother there is no dialogue to give him the letter. im not sure if this is a bug or im just dumb but can some1 help me

He has many brothers. Are you talking with the right one?

Try again and if that fails you can post screenshots, your savegame or at least more details here (include the names).

What is your game version? 1.03, 1.04 ???

1.166 is Warband version (the base game/engine). You need to look at your DLC version. Post your rgl_config.txt file (using spoiler tags), it has that info.

it is located on your game folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MountBlade Warband -> if Steam)
