Need More Info Quest overlap bug

Took a quest from a village notable, but upon returning with the amount of grain he wanted he asked if I had done what he asked and slayed some bandits. Regardless of your response it then would not let you continue and froze you on the dialogue (the game didn't freeze it just wouldn't let me do anything and forced me to exit to menu and start again). I do have another quest that's asking me to kill some bandit parties in the area, but the quest is not from this village so I'm not sure what the issue is. It has made it to where I can no longer take any quests from that village as they all trap you in an inescapable dialogue.

Ok so I solved the other quest from the guy who asked me to kill the bandits and then talked to the grain guy and the correct dialogue was displayed and I completed the quest. There was still a bug tho.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. We have fixed a considerable amount of the problems we have encountered so far and improved the game performance with the multiple patches we have released. Please make sure that your game, your drivers, and OS are up to date and the game has necessary permissions over your security software. Please let us know if the problem persists after completing these steps and verifying the integrity of the game files through Steam.
