QUEST OBJECTS NOT FOLLOWING ME: cows, kidnapped girl, etc.

i'm at level 6, i only had 5 or 6 men with me, i was supposed to move some cows to a town: how do i get them to follow me ?  i think i need more men ?

You have to interact with the cows, `talk` to them then select `drove the herd` or something similar,after wards you ll have to guide them to the location you want them to go. The cow herd will go the opposite direction of your party.

For the cows, click on them and select "Drive Cattle" or Herd or something like that. They won't follow you, they'll be driven before you so you have to think about where you're going and get behind them in that direction which can require a bit of maneuvering.

For the Kidnapped girl, similarly you need to click on her, however, she'll join your party when the dialogue screen opens.

Make sure you have room for 1 person to fit in the kidnapped girl...
Try out the mageLord's tweaks to make cattle herding a lot easier..believe me, it's really a pain in the ass without them....

Why does everybody seem to have so much trouble driving the herd?

Just click behind the cattle, stand still for a bit (hold spacebar) to see which way they go. click a bit to the side they should not go to drive the herd the other way. wait again.
It really ain't that hard!

Agreed. To make time go by quicker I use CTRL+Space. Not sure if it's a cheat or not, but I have cheats enabled so I wouldn't know.*

*Don't worry. That's the only cheat I use if it is a cheat.
