Recruit
Summary:

I got a quest from Lamenon of Carphenion to deliver a herd to Epicrotea. All was well and I delivered the herd. Later on I checked my quest log and it seemed that I have to return a letter to Lamenon to complete the quest, so I head over to Carphenion to hand in the quest.

However, the NPC then has a *new* quest, and refuses to complete my current quest. I see no choice and think "I'll just complete this new quest and then hand in both maybe?". However, accepting the new quest forced me to deliver another herd to another city too far away, and here comes more problems...

As soon as the old quest runs out, BOTH my current quests fails, and the quest window is now filled with jibberish.

The entry title says:

"Lamenon of Carphenion wants his daughter found"

The entry description says:

* Lamenon of Carphenion, the headman of Carphenion has asked you to deliver 10 heads of cow to Rhoe the Gutting-Knife in Epicrotea. He fears such a large herd will attract the attention of brigands on the way. You need to deliver at least half of the herd to Rhoe the Gutting-Knife.

* You recieved a message and a purse from [SIC] Lamenon of Carphenion. The missive reads: "The herd arrived. Some were lost, but we made enough money to get by. Thank you, and please accept these 400 gold with our gratitude.

I now have negative relations with the NPC, *and* a criminal record in the country for this deed that I didn't do, all because HE refused to accept the money

How to reproduce:

I'm not sure, accept a quest and wait long enough for the game to spawn a new quest to the NPC?,

Version:

I accepted the quest during 1.09, and it is now 1.10.
