how many quest and artifacts r there also wth do  the shrines do?

Shrines are used in quests. We don't have an exact count on the amount of quests + artifacts. More busy making them than counting them, afterall.

Where is the king of Gilaes? Thorain Felmore. The maps are useless.
Also the Archmage guy is the goods merchant of glistening monastery.

Well, there's just not a lot of money in being an archmage anymore.  And perhaps in future updates they can put a giant arrow pointing where he is hiding- or better yet, have him come to you.  In fact, it would be a lot more convenient to have the quests come completed for you already- save you all the bother of running around etc.

well...instead of giving up...just use the ctrl +t cheat and you can see everything. He is in some forest in the feron lands.

Not exactly right. It's done so that his spot changes with every game. That's just one of his possible locations.

Simply look around forests, possibly near Mountains (As the map suggests). I suggest day time so you have added range to spot him.
