Python Build

Users who are viewing this thread

I am having a major problem. I double click the buildmodule.bat and my task bar icons and windows disappear, leaving only my wallpaper. After a few seconds it all comes back except any instance of a "my computer" window. I can have two my computer windows open, only work out of one and they will both close. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?

I just reinstalled mount and blade and upgraded to python 2.6.2. I then tried to build an the untouched module system the same thing happened.

Also, when I reinstalled everything, the module file icons looked unrecognized. I can't edit them with IDLE anymore. I there a python code or something that I am missing?

My computer just got over some viruses. I installed "Microsoft .NET Network SDK" "microsoft platform SDK" "Microsoft Visual C++" All of these, i read, are necessary for Python's build function. I think the problem is with python but to be honest, I don't have a clue.

I don't think this is it but, I am playing version 1.011 and have module system 1.010.

I just did what the link above said, tried to build a module and the same thing happened plus I got an error the said "error loading calc.ifo specified module could not be found"

I'm puzzled. My computer had similar problems but when opening a video file. It resolved when I defragmented all driver 3-4 times in a row, fixed registry errors with TuneUp Utilities several times, run the TuneUp Disk Doctor and defragmented the registry. The problem is in explorer.exe, one of Windows core executables (that's how I call them). If they screw up, no more Windy. I tried debugging explorer.exe with J-I-T, but nothing worked.
Said shortly: I don't know, try to fix computer errors if there are any.

Something new. When I LOGGED IN!! i got that same error in my previous post. This is ridiculous  :|
I'll try some of that clean up you talked about. Is there a place in the computer that lists all computer errors?
