Summary: When a lot of troops die in close proximity to the player, the audio will start to lag. You'll hear very loud clashing noises, the audio will have this annoying echo effect, eventually the music will start to slow down and loop over itself, there will be input delay and sometimes the game will not or inconsistently respond to certain button prompts. The effects are worse if I put the effects volume slider at max volume, but if I lower them they are less dramatic, and if I turn it off completely there will be no input delay and the music will always play as it normally would.
I've tried to reproduce this effect in custom battles, but for some reason it doesn't happen there or at least I can't get it to happen, possibly because the game is loading less assets or something. Because it only seems to happen when enemies begin dying, I believe it may be related to the various weapons they drop. Alternatively it could be related to a lot of different enemy types dying simultaneously or a combination thereof. I also believe it may be CPU related based on what other people have told me.
This issue is not unique to my PS5, as I had the same issue on my PS4 except it was considerably worse. I actually bought a PS5 earlier than I was planning to hoping I wouldn't suffer this problem anymore, but alas.
PS: Also if it matters at all, I'm using a crafted two handed axe.
How to Reproduce: Engage in battle with a large army ranging in the 500s/800s with an equally large or smaller party on the open world, find a large cluster of enemies, particularly ground troops, and start rapidly killing them multiple at a time.
