I dunno, it doesnt matter.  I cant do anything right in this mod.

I took over a castle, named my own kingdom, was not at war with anyone close.

Yet the Dshar kingdom came 300 men strong, 30 seconds after I declared.

I was out trying to get more troops to defend.  30 seconds??

I cant handle it anymore, nor can I handle the 600 man armies running around. 

The mod wouldnt even let me enjoy having my own castle for a minute or two.

1) Decrease difficulty. You dont have to play hard to enjoy.
2) Don't leave castle,d'shar suck at sieging.
3)Stand by the breach point and overheadswing anyone that comes close.

How do I get lords to my kingdom?

I finally sieged a castle and took it for my own, got my kingdom up and threw off the first wave.

I need a lord or thirty though because I cant get troops up fast enough.

Any help is appreciated.

Howdy everyone! I'm new to the game but started out with this mod anyway. Im playing with difficulty at 75%. Its enjoyable being a little fish where almost everything out there can mess you up. Yeah I was dragged around as a prisioner about five times till I got it figured out how to save/run.

Anyway 2 questions-

1: I'm fairly sure I bought a treasure map off some dude in a tavern. How do I use this or read it/ find the treasure?

2: One of my companions stopped me as we where traveling and told me something along the lines of, "When I was a child we hid in a cave near here from the Death Cult of the Snake, and there was this awesome blade..." Does this mean anything and if so what can I do/ how can I find the cave?

A treasure map? There isn´t. Probably the Treasure chest Have a look in the mentioned city, and check the forum for relevant information - you´ll stumble over a lot of interesting things engaging that topic.

I think Dev team and SD personally would be devastated by the fact, that you can't enjoy their mod

You didn´t read the whole dialogue, eh? That blade was prolly used to slice off expendable appendices of totally volunteering to-be-sacrifices for the Snake Cult.

This mod is off the chain, the best one out there.

BUT.  I just cant play it anymore.  Its like an MMO grind once you get to the point of trying to siege towns and castles.

Go to a castle, siege, lose 10 people, get more rinse and repeat.  Siege city, lose 40 people, go get more, rinse and repeat.

Kinda like killing bunnies in AoC.

The best mod out there though, I guess thats what this game comes down to though.  Theres really no roleplaying, its more like
a kingdom manager/horse combat kinda thing.

Awesome.  I love this mod, I cant stop playing it but the castle and town sieges are killing it
for me.

I just keep going out and finding the smaller groups of noldor and jatu and killing them to
see what kinda cool stuff I can get for me and my companions.

Ive been playing prophesy of pendor for a while and its really good. I'm a king ,but i dont know how to recruit lords into my kingdom. Can enyone help me?

Gavin beat me to it.

Denlan,you must capture enemy lords and convert them into your kingdom,you cannot recruit new lords out of the blue in PoP.Get a lord to like you(minimum 21) then attack him(decreases to 20) then capture him(decreases to 10 which is minimum to ask him to be your vassal) and in the prisoner menu ask him to be your vassal for his freedom.

That's the problem. You need Mount and Blade version 1.011 for this mod.

Interesting introduction. I am amazed at  some of the truth to your opening. I have some understanding they decided to make this space and the earth and give man the divive spark (of all the beings or life in this space ,including these alians, man is the only one truly of being able to cultivate and return to their origin and is in their image), though there were some trial runs and in these were giants and dwarves. These other mythical creatures still exist in other spaces. You can find some refernces to the earths age in Buddhist scriptures. Sakyamuni refers to the 6 that came before him in the previos age. How are they finding cities and structures under the ocean when those plates were above sea level 600,000 years ago. And if thats not old enough they dicovered uraniam in the Gabon Republic. Because they found the ore already utilised French scientists and then others were invited to study this deposit and they came to the conclusion that it was an ancient (2 billion years but u can google it for scientists report) underground neuclear reactor capable of powering most of the globe for so many thousand years.
There is order in the universe though it is the universal qualities that create all and everything in it along with another substance interacting that we no as yin & yang. What is the difference between the earth and planets spinning around the sun, and electrons circling a nucleus. And it keeps going down like that. Perhaps if you were able to shrink down onto one of those electrons you would find  the nucleus now looks like a sun and there is life there. Sakyumini Buddha said something to the effect that at his level the universe is so big he could not see its biggest particle or smallest. He also mentioned that there were 3000 planets in our milky way galaxy with life, also that there are 3000 worlds in a grain of sand.

I practiced an orthodox buddhist school for many years and all that came with it.
