The guy who was going to do it isn't doing it anymore. If you really want to, you can do Reyvadin.

I'd love to use that new guide to create an actual inn-room for the Four Ways.. But will it be in the pack?

I dont want do do my work for nothing...

Um, only the sco files are supposed to be edited, so if you can do that by editing the .sco files and nothing else, then yeah.

well i can't, so that wont be done...

Second draft coming up soon!

Edit: alternative version:

Frontside look

Standing in the gateway, looking at the courtyard

A look form the inn stairs to the gateway(and gates!)

Marnid and borcha besides the weapon's vendor

A look across the courtyard to the armourer's stand

Toplook on the courtyard, and...

The whole thing!!

So, which one du you guys like the best?

NOTE: I'll add spawnpoints for marnid and the other guy in the first version, don't worry....

exactly, and since it's an Inn, theres traffic. And where theres traffic, there are buyers,(explains the vendors)

But which one is better?

Odd noone didn't even mention Zendar?

Well there is the Zendar I did, be warned about the square, heavy with item count and lights. I always see Zendar as a junction point since it is natural has a slaver... and probably because it is the only town with a square... well...

Also has an easter egg...

ps; training zone may suck and I didn't bother to replace merchant entry points but the room is nice.

I'm still waiting for a response as to which version of Four Ways Inn i'm supposed to send...

Just noticed this thread several seconds ago... Why did anyone ever lose interest in this!? In my opinion, it deserves a bump.

Seff, I prefer the second Inn. Seems nice and tranquil, somehow.

If there are any more towns that need decorating, count me in!

I'll try to reproduce the second one... lost it last time i updated

Anyway, you can work on everything that hasn't been done already...

Sorry to necro the thread, but since this mod appears to be dead, I figured it'd be a shame to waste all the good work done on these scenes. I don't know if Ingolifs will ever be coming back to the forum, so I can't exactly ask him for permission -- so I'm asking the builders of these wonderful scenes. Would you consider contributing your scenes to Storymod? I'd be happy to include them, with full credits.

Nonsequentially,
Winter

Sure, if you want, at least Tulga is free for use. And yeah, if you wanna give credit, go on. At least it makes the readme look longer and cooler.

There seems to be a whole lot of problems with many scenes though, as the .711 rooms seem to be different than the old ones. Don't know about that really, but it seems that most of the objects are in strange places and merchants be inside battlements 'n stuff. And Sargoth castle is very different than the old one.

So if my city (Tulga) requires any editing to match the new rooms, feel free to do it yourself or tell me to and I'll do.

im certain that this will be a totally noob question, but are all these scenes (the basic stairs, floor etc) built as a model? how is it done?

I assume you don't know the edit mode, correct me if I'm wrong. All the items (stairs, tables, shields 'n stuff) in the scenes are individually placed and rotated at X/Y/Z axis. So no modelling here, just placing the ready meshes and objects at the scenes. See Armagan's documentation on the edit mode.

If that's what you mean.

Oh why can't you complete this awesomness?
The finished rooms look amazing.

I'll have to start doing it my self... Now... Where is that tutorial...
Damn my Noobness!

I have found this topic too:
http://forums.taleworlds.com/viewtopic.php?t=4458&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

it's about the same thing right?
So.. if I understood well, any changes I make in the rooms will stay there forever right?
I mean it alters the game files,,, (as oposed to things returning back to normal after I close and restart the game)

This is the best thing ever! I'll get to it right after work..

oh man!!!! This will obviously allow me to correct the glitches that I encountered in most cities after I installed the detail props mod! Arghhh three more hours of work damnit!
