Productive Enterprise: What would be the most effective setup?

Good evening gentlemen. After trying for weeks to do this, I have finally gained enough money from tournaments to set up a velvet industry in Rivacheg. I am currently waiting safely in Rivacheg, gaining over 1000 dinars a week. Thus far I have gained about 6000 dinars. This brings me to my question, however: where do I invest all this dosh?

You see, I have heard claims that although it would flood the market if I placed velvet industries in every city, the amount of money that would be made effectively negates the penalty. On the other hand, I have also heard that it is very effective to place iron industries in Curaw and Dhirim, and wool industries in... somewhere in the Sarranid Sultunate, I cannot remember where.

Having tried to research this on the internet, the results have been inconclusive. All these proposed setups seem to be either impartial, or they conflict with others too much. Would anyone here be able to give me a simple, clear description of a setup that can be applied to the cities of Calradia, allowing me to gain the most money possible?

Many thanks,

Owlbread.

it used to be very simple but recently i haven't done any research about it

Just take a look in each town what gives you the most money and build that (mostly weavery and dyeworks in native setting)

Normally they wont affect the prices of eachother (production size is to small to have a big effect)

Use the money to make money  build enterprises in all the cities than start expanding your army, your armor and weapons, your companions gear etc....

Well, I own several productive enterprises in several towns. The Guild Master is telling you the truth when he says prices never remain constant. I don't know of any sure-fire system to make the most money possible, but the strategy I use (it's very basic, I know) is review the options and weigh the cost with what you'll (roughly) make each week. I don't like the idea of setting up the same enterprise in most cities, because it all depends on what the demands are.

Regardless, whatever you choose, there will likely be some weeks when your profit is less than a hungred denars, and times when it will be more than 600. The wealth of the town, caravan routes, brigands, and wars all affect prices. Enterprises are a good thing to invest in, if you have the money that is.

Be warned, depends on which version you have.
I believe the newer versions totally nerfed Iron Works industry for Curaw n Dhirim.

indeed... its back to placing dyeworks everywhere. Nicely done taleworlds.... instead of doing things like that try to take a look at the tweak I made for the enterprises, making them all balanced AND interesting AND depending on different resources, locations etc.
