problems with the game and suggestions

while I love this mod and I play it everyday I have noticed a few bugs or problems with the game and I thought that I should mention them.

1.) I accidently gave one of my lords to many fiefs, and I cant seem to find a option to take them back (exchanging fiefs wont help.)

2.) despite placing churches and such in my kingdom the people hate my religion is there any way to fix this.

3.) while I know this is really a native issue is there anyway you can increase the amount of ladders and such used in sieges, i dont know why the developers of the game havent fixed the problem but its not realistic to try and take a city with one ladder.

4.) firentis one of my companions dissapeared earlier in my game when I appointed him to a position in my court, months later he is still gone and the travelers dont even know he exist. (Firentis dissapeared due to the damn khergits taking my last castle, a few weeks later when I recaptured it I thought he would reappear but that dosent seem to be the case.)

There is no mod in existence that I know of that allows you to take back what you gave to a lord.  If you want to take back fiefs, accuse the lord of treason and exile him or execute him.

Increasing the amount of ladders would unbalance the game and make it much too easy to attack a castle which is supposed to be fortified and give the defenders tremendous advantages.  It is completely realistic to force the attacker to use only one ladder.  That simulates the difficulty that an attacker would face in trying to storm a castle.  In mods that use multiple ladders, the attackers always win because the attackers always have more troops and won't attack without a numerical advantage.  The one ladder chokepoint is the only chance the defender has to fight off a siege, otherwise there would be no point to retreating behind a castle's walls.  Multiple ladders breaks the game.

I'm currently in the process of making some major changes to he mod; so try not to worry too much as I notice many of the same issues of the mod.

Regarding #4 above, Firentis was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will be a starting left tackle this season. The signing bonus was just too big, but his agent told me he sent you a fruit basket.

yeah u sorted out 1 big issue with the mod, when ur troops eat a fruit basket the baskets dissappear. it was historically proven that medival people did not eat baskets or other crafts like that. i want basket when i finish eating fruit basket. jokes haha .

yes then we could fill said baskets with bread... or meat.. or a picnic or more fruit! or we could sell the baskets and get rich!!

Actually, a way of compressing food would be nice. Compress as fit it into one stack.

Consider the blacksmith. Takes <item>, X Iron, X Tools, Y money => upgraded item.

Now, a .. uh "logistics center" in a town. Takes 5 <Bread> => Crate of bread.
Or maybe 15 <Bread> => Cart of bread. Weights a sufficient amount more.

The problem ! Bread, Crate of Bread and Cart of Bread are different items, if i remember, so what happens is, uh, the game will give +morale bonuses for them all... I am not sure if there is a way around that ...

Can you maybe change the "amount" contained in the bread from 50 to 500?

it was historically proven that medival people did not eat baskets or other crafts like that.

WRONG!  They would eat baskets and anything else in a famine.  During famines, there would not be a single creature alive (visible) in the countryside and the trees would be stripped of bark.

When I was in Iraqi Kurdistan about 5 years ago and it looked like I'd be spending a bunch of time there, my translator related that the local farmers wanted help. It seems that wild pigs were a real problem in the area. The locals didn't want to soil themselves killing them and taking them out of the fields, and so boar herds were destroying watermelon fields. The local Christians were all urban now, so nobody was available to keep pigs at bay.  During Saddam's reign, food was very hard to get, so wildlife was scarce. After Saddam's fall, food became plentiful, and the first wildlife to recover was the wild pigs.

Dang shame that gig fell through, I was really looking forward to organizing a big pig wipe-out and charity BBQ. I was also invited to go pheasant hunting by local farmers on the border with Iran, and that would have been interesting, since the border is more notional than fixed.
