Problems with cameraborders...

Users who are viewing this thread

I hope I don't post a question, that has already been answered...
But at least I couldn't find help yet...

So... As explained in many cases I added 3 own brf.files in the module.ini:

load_mod_resource = mod_textures
load_mod_resource = mod_materials
load_mod_resource = mod_pictures
...
When I started the game later on... The area the camera was able to move
on the worldmap had decreased... So some Town were still reachable for
my party, but the camera wasn't able to follow anymore...
As I followed every step I had changed, I'm quite sure, that it has to do
with the change in the module.ini or loading brfs in general.

So far... I you can't help, I have to make a new (smaller) map ^^

thx, Albertus :grin:

Maybe it has no sense, but one strange error happened to me once.. Did you put the load_mod_resource at the middle of the module.ini? If you did, put it at the bottom after everything.

Another thing to note, unless you have 100s of textures, materials and models, you can have them all in the same BRF file...

this sometimes happen if your module.ini gets messed up (the map editor will sometimes do it).  Usually one of the first few lines in your module.ini that have the numbers with the size of the map get combined to a single line.  Edit it with something like notepad so you can see any special characters and compare the first few lines with the native one.
