i encountered this problem and post here as a last resort after having looked high and low for the answer to this problem.
my problem.
1. i edited away at the multiplayer map "the arena" quite happily and i saved with no problems.
2. i looked in my string file in the native module to find the name of the sco file and found that it was called scn_multi_21
3. i look in the scene obj file and find i only have 18 multiplayer maps
and here we all are
