I found a program to convert .dds file to .psd file so I opend the file for shields in photoshop, and I get this:

nowwhat9eh.jpg

so now what? I make a drawing that I'd like to see on a shield in this image?

or, seeing how I can't work with photoshop, is it possible for me to draw what I want in lets say: paint and then cut/paste that image into this one?

You could make your drawing in lets say paint, save it, open it in photoshop, and copy paste it onto the texture you want to change, yes. You'll need to be ware of the size of course. And it's a lot of trial and error, because you can't see the shape of the shield.

It looks like you have a mod there. :D Looks like the flemish lion on that shield next to the bolt bag... I changed that shield a while ago to that as well . :)

Thx for the help, I use Lost Lamb's shields indeed.

oh I just found out I have no Artistic skills whatsoever

Each one of these is a shield or other object. Imagine that you folded a piece of paper around a shield and drew on it, including wood textures etc, then you unfolded the paper. That is what you would get. Just try editing them and see what happens! First I would suggest going to Layer > New Layer so you can always delete your changes.

Thanks for posting this Temujin (aka Chenghis khan)  I was wondering the same thing...

Is there a way to paste in so that it auto stretches to match the area?
And why all the blank spots?
