Private servers for Xbox

Hello starting this thread because I believe this to be the BIGGEST issue we are facing in the console community. I run the Mount and Blade Competitive Cooperation (MBCC) and occasionally we have community events. It is extremely difficult to organize events because you have to use a public server in which anyone can join and do as they please, team killing being a popular option. If the server is full before your event begins, your SOL. Another reason we need it is for Clan battles. There's nothing more frustrating than having random people join a server where a clan battle is going on and start trolling. I can't emphasize this enough, WE NEED PRIVATE SERVERS. Dlc would be nice but this needs to come first. This would really keep the player base steady as it would offer endless possibilities of things to do in said servers. I wouldn't even be opposed to paying for them, as long as it's a fair price. Similar to battlefield's system of "buying or renting" a server for an amount of time. Even if you could only do one server, we would make it work! We are extremely organized here on the Xbox. Thank you for your time.

Yes, I second.  As an active player on Warband since the early days of PC, and now on Xbox One.

The main challenges we face are these:  The lack of a private server prohibits us from having proper clan/tournament matches.  There is also the issue of the Vote Kicking system in play here as well.  On the public servers, someone who is vote kicked for team killing, etc. can just simply rejoin within seconds of being booted.  There is absolutely no way to prevent people from ruining the game for people who enjoy actually playing in public servers, or to prevent someone messing with scheduled matches.

Our community has a lot of dedicated players, clans, and sees frequently new additions to the player base.  We'd really love some love from y'all at taleworlds

I third this it's needed we can't have good clan battles without people appearing either teamkilling or making the battle unfair either way it'd be enjoyed by everyone if someone implemented the private servers cheers

Yes private servers for console needs to happen, warband got released to console just under a year ago and through that time our community has steadily grown. We see plenty of new players picking up this amazing game every day and as fun as this game is I haven't met a single person on console who isn't craving for private servers to be introduced to us, any sort of public server we play in weather it being a clan match or just trying to play for fun can easily get ruined in seconds by team killers or trolls & that can turn people away from the game, please bring us private servers this community would double in size in a matter of weeks. I'm tired if the noobs and random filling up servers when we try to have a clan battle amd I can't even be on my own team I mean we still win but id like to play but just do it

This is a fantastic post UPS. I can easily say with great conifence that MB Warband on Xbox One has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had gaming. Between meeting so many new people through MBCC and the game itself, I've had so many great moments. However, private servers are something that need to be looked into. I completely understand that out of all of Taleworlds priorities, Warband on the XBone has to be near the bottom, but I can speak for the entire console community in saying that Private Servers would not only be beneficial for us, but for Taleworlds also. We as a community are attempting to build a core of gamers who will be playing together for the forseeable future; with P.S, it would allow this to be much easier. This also will have the potential effect of creating a bigger fanbase for future MB games *cough cough*, which will help all of us. To sum everything up, we are incredibly grateful for Warband on console, but with the addition of P.S, it'll help to make that experience even some step better! Thank you!

Ay bruh we do need private servers, I hate people who ruin clan battles or team killers. It's annoying and players don't like how the mount and blade makers are ignoring us and not making private servers. That's messed up and we need private servers for clan battles.

As a player who's been around since early pc, this is something that I can get behind. Everyone wants private servers, people who run mini games and those who have clans. Team killing is a huge issue but with admin it wouldn't be one. I'd pay for one if that was the only way to implement it into the game.

I agree with this, it's really hard to organize clan events on xbox without private servers. I understand that Tale Worlds is hard at work on the next installment of Mount And blade but it would be really cool of we could get private servers first and then the DLC. I'd pay for both tbh

Yea you may be right, however the MBCC is a tight knit community. We're not going to go down so easily. Have faith, we'll get this accomplished.

Kner made a really good point guys. Not only will this be beneficial to the community now, but it will really prolong the life of this game on Xbox. It will secure a larger player base so when Bannerlord eventually comes (BECAUSE IF IT DOESNT WE WILL LITERALLY PROTEST lol) our community will already be strong and you'll sell much more copies of the game early on. I've said this before, falmeer has mentioned it as well but I wouldn't be opposed to renting servers AS LONG AS ITS A FAIR PRICE AND NOT EXTORTION. Please make this happen developers, it's a win win situation for you. Your console fanbase is still strong, and this will be a tremendous help in keeping it that way. PRIVATE SERVERS FOR XBOX!
