Prisoners of War disappearing in Times of Peace?

So I begin my illustrious mercenary career working for the Kerghits who are, conveniently, at war with the Rhodoks. I throw my measly troops into a fray on the side of Sanjar Khan's already almighty army, and the end result is I capture 5 Rhodok Veteran Spearmen (and look pretty good to old SK, despite doing bugger all in the battle. Later, as I'm traipsing along on another mission for the Khan, the Kerghits and Rhodoks make peace. I think nothing of this until a little while later when I realize that the 5 Rhodok Veteran Spearmen have disappeared from my prisoner list.

On the one hand, this is a really cool feature; after all, POWs should get released when the hostilities end. On the other hand, er, is that really what happened? I've never noticed that before.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this an old feature I just never knew about? Or did the Rhodoks do a runner when I wasn't paying attention to the messages?

I think that that affects on lords and kings, but not on regular troops.

See, there's lots of regular troops as deserters and so on, and bandits are always angry, so I don't think so.

That's weird, I've never had regular prisoners disappear from my party. I've had them STOLEN by friendly lords from my castle, though. See, when the lord arrived his prisoners merged with my castle's, and when he left he took some of my precious Vaegir Marksmen that I was planning on recruiting and left me some crappy Rhodok guys. Thieving bastard.

I usually do that to the other lords go drop off and visit my fiefs. I usually clean them out too since
I can nab 20 at a time and escort them to find a Ransom Broker.

Well, I'm Marshall of Nords we are at war against Vaegirs. They have 1 castle and 2 towns left, King Yaroglek and 3-4 Lords are in my Slezkh dungeon's castle, guarded by my loyal Huscarls...
Badaboom peace between Nords and Vaegirs! 

• I wonder whom ragnar made peace with, since Yaroglek is in my hands
• I'm his Marshall but learn we make peace through...what? the 20h news?
• Yaroglek and Vaegirs Lords disappear from my prison 

Some adjustments really need to be done here

this is a new feature. in prev. versions only lords/kings would be freed upon peace treaty.

If you have prisoners and the faction you are affiliated makes peace with the prisoners faction, all prisoners (lords and regular units) are freed!! Happen to me while I was looking for a Ramson Dealer to trade 30 Vaegirs for coins!!
