Prisoner release

Not sure if this is a bug or WAI ...

If you have prisoners from a faction with whom you are at war, and then the two sides declare a truce, the faction prisoners are automatically released.  As far as I can remember (which isn't very far), this was true only of Lords in Native and Floris.  Is this mechanic behavior intended in A New Dawn?  Or have I incorrectly remembered how the game treats faction prisoners?

I haven't changed anything in that regard, so I assume it works the same as in Native.

It was that way in Native if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the replies and for confirming that the prisoner release behavior is WAI, and not as my poor (faulty) memory remembers it. 

There is a lot to like about this mod, and I'm enjoying it thoroughly.
