Is anything going to be done about the cheats/cheaters on native online (team death match, siege, etc...). There are numerous cheats that players are using that is killing the fun and equal playing field resulting in many players leaving. Is there anything that can be coded in to prevent 3rd party software:
1) autoblock
2) aimbots
3) speed hacks

one player using one or all of these can throw an entire match and since bannerlord battle mechanics makes all of these things critical (blocking, footwork, aiming, swing accuracy, etc...) something should be done. You can balance the classes and add new maps but that wont matter if cheaters can freely play.

I haven't seen any cheaters for certain on this game apart from the cheat adverts, I'm sure there are some though. But I've been around the top of the leader bound a bit on TW servers and I don't think one player can really have that much impact on a match apart from skirmish. I can also tell why the people who are better than me are better than me which isn't always easy to tell if you are new.
Auto aim and block are things but speed hacks? Any proof of that.

Based on the text he wrote (talking about the author of the topic), I can say that he's just obviously a newbie and hasn't fully understood all the mechanics of the fight yet. And it's obvious that he has hardly played or has not played in skirmish mode at all, so he rarely encountered strong players. There are no speed hacks in the game. Idk about aimbot, but I've never heard about it either (in this game). Autoblock exists, that's a fact. But it's not the kind of cheat that can turn the tide of battle.

fake news

Looks like TW is aware of the problem. Played 2.3k hours on bannerlord-it is not a skill issue. Maybe now you can open up and be more aware of the problem. I am not claiming everyone is cheating-I am pointing out the fact that there are those that do. I understand there are very skilled players who do not cheat and work hard to be at that level.

Global mod Orion stated within the forum:

"...You wouldn't like my opinion on the matter, but my opinion is informed by things that I have deleted from the forum, youtube videos that were sent to us for ToS/EULA violations, and other knowledge which I agreed not to share. The problem is not non-existent, I wouldn't even go so far as to say it's minimal, as there are currently subscription-based paid services providing the means to cheat in this game and the demand must be there or the updates would have stopped.

All that said, I know from past experience of being on both sides of hackusations as well as judge & jury in competitive play in Warband that it is nigh impossible to prove autoblocks, aimbots, and even ESP/wallhacks beyond a reasonable doubt. Most cheaters that actually got caught in the past were just using high contrast texture replacers in screenshots. The game has a skill ceiling which is so astronomically high it may as well not exist, and something as simple as using an uncommon attack direction input method was enough to throw off the best Warband players for a while. We're talking differences as nuanced as lefty and righty pitchers in baseball here, things so minute that the average player isn't even going to pick up on it because their focus is on other elements of the gameplay.

It's like calling wallhacks on a CT on dust2 in CounterStrike because he guessed right and threw a pop flash on the corner at long A and he practiced that throw & timing for weeks to get it right so you walked right out of the doors into an instant white screen & died. If that doesn't make sense to you, that's the point. It makes sense to him because he's been doing it a lot, and yes there are hackers out there but there are also sweats who don't just play for fun, they play to improve. The best and only thing you can do individually is reassert mastery over your free time and do what's fun for you. If you believe there are lots of hackers out there ruining your fun, then don't give them the opportunity. I know it's ****ty advice, but it's your time being spent. You can't get your time back."

Idk where you see those cheaters, i think it's skill issue more.
It’s unfortunate, but there is someone in the community who, from what I’ve been told, provided a complete guide on how to get and use cheating software as a “joke.” So, yes, there are definitely cheaters. Why someone would pay 20 euro for a cheat and risk their credit card information is beyond me, but there are people willing to do it to participate in competitive play. Cheats do include aimbot, wallhacks, and autoblock.
