Prerequisites to certain quests?

Hi everyone. I'm playing Warband on PS4 and I'm struggling to happen across certain quests. During one playthrough I completed several "Resolve Dispute" quests between King Graveth and one of his lords, given by my spouse. I was actually given a number of these quests by my spouse every week or so which greatly increased my renown. However, in successive playthroughs I haven't come across this quest at all so I was wondering if certain criteria has to be fulfilled before I am given this quest. I also never get the quest to escort a lady to a certain town from a lord either. I'd be very grateful if anybody could shine some light on this please!

In order to resolve a dispute, there needs to be a dispute. Basically, the relation between a lord and his king needs to be low enough to trigger the quest. There is also a quest to resolve disputes between lords, which requires a similar situation.
