I don't have too much to say at this point, though I will throw out SF as a kind of dark horse candidate to do surprisingly well. I think they have the right players to be able to pull off a few upsets.
I'll withhold any speculation about teams being disappointing/trading players/eventual champs for a bit. Should be interesting to see other predictions though.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that BkS will dominate enough on open maps to win the entire tournament. TMW, with Clockwise at the helm, have the teamwork to clean house on closed maps. Close behind are Balions, West Knights and KOA as long as Ordyn doesn't form his own team.

I have a feeling TMW and Balion are going to end up in the finals, with TMW taking the victory; winning the tourney. They're communication, experience, and indvidual skill is winning quality, but you never know what Balion can do. BkS, I feel, can also come close to winning, through their superb and consistent skill and teamwork, however, because this is their firstRhade 说:

Like Clock said, SF is a candidate for impressing everyonr through-out the course of this tourney, they have strong players and quite good communication. Dissapointing? I think KoA might slip up and dissapoint, just because they've become a lot smaller, lost a lot of their best players (Joe, Robo, Ordyn), and don't have that great teamwork. They still have skill, but that doesn't cut it all the time.

Who will win?
Balion, BkS, TMW, wK will be top four, whomever wins at that point is hard to call. Applying my bias and actually predicting a winner, I think Balion has a great chance, it being our first for which we aren't splitting our forces.
What teams are going to impress?
I think KM, SF and Rebels all have the potential to win a few upsets and turn a few heads. DoF, too, will continue to impress (I was impressed with their performance in both BIT and 5-a-Side). BkS will perform as well as always; there's no way BkS will be as rusty as some people seem to expect they'll be. If they aren't already, I say 2 weeks top before they're back in decent shape.
What teams are going to disappoint?
There's a good chance I'm wrong, but I think GK will be a bit of a disappointment without some players like Dman, Ghaern, Phoenix and Chewbacca. Not sure why people are expecting KoA and BkS to disappoint. KoA is arguably one of the most consistent clans on the scene. Despite not really ever winning tournaments, they always hold their own.
Sniping/trading?
I don't expect to see much trading unless it's between the TMW/WMT teams.
Open/Closed Map performance?
The older open maps like FBtR, Ruins and Plains will be hard to take away from BkS, Balion and wK. Might be a bit harder for BkS on some of the newer open maps, while Balion and wK, for the most part, already have a good handle on most of the newer open maps. Additionally, Wappaw has the lineup and the potential to perform very well on most open maps.
Closed maps are a bit tough to call. BkS and Balion usually grind it out very well on closed maps, but TMW is extremely cohesive and often dominate their favourite closed maps. They also have those important European members who have been playing some of the newer closed maps for longer than most NA players. Sota, Maynd and Blacktide specifically bring a lot to the table. KM and SF might both surprise with their closed map performance, as I believe both teams are more suited to close combat. With the addition of Taira and Deafening, KM has a pretty bad-ass infantry lineup.

DoF- Easily the most unappreciated team in the tourney mostly because we don't see them very often but if you watch them play when they have their best lineup out(Darin, William, Erminas, Varangian, Gimli, Gandhi, and Alec) they are very solid and will turn some heads. KM- they are more of a boom our bust I mean they seem to have a sick roster for close maps but how they do on open/mixed maps will remain to be seen because to me they don't have many competent cav other than Taira or archers for that matter especially since Scope didnt rejoin his old clan.

@Nevino: If you take a close look to the TMW roster, you will see that the "splitting off talent into two teams" doesn't hold. TMW is basically BIT team + Mike and myself, more or less. WMT, however, is the rest of our members. That doesn't mean however that they are not skilled; far from it. I think that you will be surprised by their performance.

KM has good inf yes, but, Taira has next to no competitive experience, Ordyn is more of an all-purpose player, and Flood, well he's a great duelist, doesn't mean he's good inf in scrims. Many people seem to be thinking KM's going to be hot**** in this tourney causing a few upsets. I think they're going to have it rough, being they're first tournament, and also, it takes a good team to win, not just a couple good players in a certain class.

We haven't split the BIT team up, so if we win or fail its because that team won or failed, not because we split up. Because we did that last tournament too.

It is extremely hard to say who will win the tournament and considering out of those 4 teams some teams are better at beating others, I think who is in the finals may come down largely to how the bracket ends up.
What teams are going to impress? I think WMT has a lot of raw talent, and if that can be properly directed, they have a chance of being an extremely formidable team. I could also see DoF pulling ahead and i'm going to be very interested in any fights between DoF and Rebel.
