Pre download?

As far as I am aware, there won't be a pre-download for the game.

What about copying the beta files into the new folder that'll be created when downloading with steam? Should cut some GBs, shouldn't it?

I have DSL with a download speed of 1,3 MBps (I am not living on the countryside.)

Sounds pretty bad, did not know it was that bad in Germany, In Scandinavia, Denmark is kind of known the have the worst internet of the nations, but its very area specific. Cause some parts of Denmark has great net, others you cant get better than a 10/10 connection, that actually at best only works as a 6/4 or there abouts, when testing it.

I also live in Germany but recently there has been improvements regarding Internet. I had 900kb/s download speed years ago, now it has been upgraded and downloading with 28mb/s / 222 mbps

I have 700 kb/s. Game will 60 GB so it tooks 87 hours to download at best... I cant keep my pc open for 87 hours. I can open my pc for 6-7 hour in a day so have to wait 12 day to play... Preorder would be awesome

The beta is 44GB but the download size is 26.4GB, so even if the full game is 60GB the download will be around 36GB

According to a download speed calculator, 36GB will take 8 hours 35 minutes and 23 seconds to download on my 10Mbps connection. Bet I don't get to play until April 1st.

Is it yet clear when during the 31'st the game will release?

I've made sure to take a couple of days off beginning when i get off work on the 30'th.

And have planned to stay up as the clock passes midnight, - just to be able to play the game as soon as possible.

That is of course, - if anyone actually knows if it will be avaliable at that point, - or if the release will take place sometime during the day of the 31'st..

Im pretty sure its against steam policy to sell an EA game on pre-order. Cant recall seeing a single preorder for an EA release. I have seen pre orders for games that should have been EA releases though, but thats more of an issue with EA (publisher) and Bethesda putting out unfinished messes pretending to be finished games.
