Quite simple, as the Installer says, you must run Warband through the WSELauncher for these new features to work. For your ease of use, a shortcut is setup on your desktop to do this. You have to run the game through that or you'll get the exact errors you're postingYorker 说:So yeah... I don't know what's going on there, you have any idea?
Can I get a bit more information?João 说:I run the game by WSE loader but it says i havent M&B 1.143,but i have this version.I think it's because my computer it's in portuguese and it's writen "Arquivos de Programas" instead of "Program Files",so it can't find the path to the game.Well,i think that's the problem but don't have idea on how to solve it.
Starting new log file.
Version: 1.143
If they weren't right when you started your game or immediately after a battle you participated in, then they weren't caused by PBOD. Even so, I'd like to see them. If you haven't run Warband since you got the errors, you can find them in your rgl_log.txt file in your Warband install folder. You can also go back and see the script errors in the notes window under "recent messages" if you miss a screenshot.Lohi-soturi 说:Oh, I recently got some script errors on the campaign map, but I was too slow to get a proper screenshot.
Lohi-soturi 说:This is awesome.
I've always admired PBOD (and diplomacy is nice too) but this latest version with battle scene deployment has gone beyond my all my expectations. I'm now afraid that any future MB II will feel hollow unless/until it incorporates these ideas. Magnificent work!
Computica 说:Nice job CABA, I was doing the positioning using presentations rather than on the map. It is really revolutionary, keep up the good work.
Comrade Temuzu 说:Brilliant, revolutionary even. Cant wait to see a few good mods with this integrated in them![]()
Really in my launcher it says 1.143 and in the log 1.142Caba`drin 说:Can I get a bit more information?João 说:I run the game by WSE loader but it says i havent M&B 1.143,but i have this version.I think it's because my computer it's in portuguese and it's writen "Arquivos de Programas" instead of "Program Files",so it can't find the path to the game.Well,i think that's the problem but don't have idea on how to solve it.
Does the module install correctly? (The installer finishes and creates a "PreBattle O&D" folder in your "Modules" folder? And a shortcut gets placed on your desktop?)
If it installs correctly, do you get this error when you try to run the desktop shortcut?
Also, to be sure you have Warband 1.143, in your installation folder, open the file "rgl_log.txt"
It says the version of the engine right at the top:
Might be that the patch didn't work and you don't actually have Warband 1.143, so you should double-check.插入代码块:Starting new log file. Version: 1.143
I can't see how. If it is letting you start the game with WSE, it should be forcing you to have version 1.143 (though you could double check in your rgl_log.txt in your main install folder that is truly your version), and PBOD is simply added to the Native 1.143 code.fragonard 说:Just installed and the new feature look great but I one problem. After the vendors reset after a few weeks, they no longer have bolts for sale. I've been to 8 cities and nothing, this seems to be more than bad luck. Is there some way the original bug crept back in somehow? Otherwise, no problems.

Do report in if there are any flukes, things that need to be worked out, or ways the system could be made more intuitive. Your feedback would be most helpful.
I've seen this every once and a while in reports related to Diplomacy (I think...maybe it is with native 1.143, too). Are you using the Diplo merger? This isn't directly PBOD-related, but even so it will be difficult to track down. Thanks for posting it.Lohi-soturi 说:插入代码块:SCRIPT ERROR ON OPCODE -2147483088: Invalid Troop ID: 1073804480; LINE NO: 602: At Script [556] npc_decision_checklist_faction_ai_alt.
Interesting idea and it makes sense that some might want to do this. Is it possible? Yes. I should be able to remove the horse on-spawn without too much hassle. I'm trying to figure how to best move that into the Pre-Battle Orders screen...as it would make most sense as a division-wide phenomenon (rather than at the troop-type level). It could get included as a new movement option (Mount, Dismount, Remove Horses) or some such. I'll consider it.Lohi-soturi 说:After more hours of fun with PBOD I could think of one small enhancement:
If possible (and if it is not too much work) could you implement a switch for making mounted troops leave their mount off-map (i.e. have them dismount before deployment)?
I'm using some "mounted infantry" troops (including most of my companions) and having to deploy the horses as well means that I need to position my troops not quite where I want them to be, since after the dismount (which is now automatic thanks to PBOD) the horses would be in the way. After they dismount I order them to move into the actual position.
I want my army to be as fast as possible on the campaign map so I want to give horses to all my companions, even if they always fight dismounted.

I'm unsure why this would be the case, though it is disappointing to hear. I don't believe moving to the WSE launcher with an old savegame should have any ill effects like this, but I guess I'll need to look into if I made a mistake with the merger.Lohi-soturi 说:Yes, I'm using the merged PBOD+Diplomacy installer from the repository. I will probably have to move to plain PBOD since last night I got some serious errors with the PBOD+DIPLOMACY combo, as many items (books!) disappeared from my inventory (+loads of script errors)

All of the game mechanic changes can be turned off in all versions of PBOD in the Camp Menu->Mod Options. As for whether you want to use the WSE v0.95 or non-WSE 0.92, that's up to you. Currently all the WSE version adds is the ability to, as the battle starts, place your troops where-ever you want (and the only change for you is what shortcut you use to start the game).tt03 说:Hi there. I'm dipping my toes into Warband and... wow, this mod is amazing. I played quite a bit of the original and I'm just now working my way through a native 1.143 game. I'm interested in choosing the troops that accompany me into battle but without mods to basic mechanics such as damage tweaks, polearm bracing, etc., at this point. If I install a non-WSE 0.92 and pretty much disable everything, will it do what I want?
Again, amazing work and I'm sure I'll back for the other features, but right now I'm still attempting to adjust to Warband itself.
