Postponed fief takeover... now impossible to obtain it?

Hey there,
I am creating this message because while this mod is the most amazing mod I have ever played for a game, I cannot find a way to obtain the fief I have captured through war because of the fact that I have postponed the takeover.

Therefore, I'd like to know how to make that specific fief... well mine?

After choosing to wait before assigning fief, if you want to have it for yourself later, all you need to do is to talk to your minister in your court, there is an option to assign unassigned fiefs. The minister has to be one of your companions or your wife.

Ahhhh! Right. Now I guess I just need to fire my current minister and assign one of my companions. Thanks a lot for the answer.
