Posting styles

I like to write extremely long sentences that don't end in any particular place, specifically not after every three inches or so, as some of our members are prone to do, nor do I like it when other people do it either; I believe only one person on this forum actually appreciates it when people do that, and it certainly isn't the admins.

But it's beige. Beigespace doesn't have the same ring to it.

Here's an idea to test people. I'll find a bunch of posts from various people, and you guys can test yourselves to see if you can guess who they're from.

Paragraphs are necessary. I'm sickened
by long posts without differentiation.
Even those with lots of space.

I rather like the shortened style that Calandale writes with, it's like I'm reading a lot without actually doing it reading a lot.

I agree, the shortened style Calandale writes in is easiest to read i find. but i like spacing (just 1 not big blank space) between sentance, para, whatever. i don't use it however, as i tend to waffle on too much. but i think that comes from my dislike/phobia of forums in general, fearing my posts will be completely mis-read. (i know it's stupid, leave me be  )

I usually imagine the poster's voice on my head, when I read the forum.
When I read calandale's post, I feel like the black kid on wheelchair from Malcolm in the Middle is talking.

My style consists on posting compressed and often unclear messages, giving the reader the option to translate them at their own risk. This has bad endings sometimes.

I only get that from KoC actually. Cal seems more... Calm, controlled. Almost poetic, in his writing.

I think Cal has a better idea than KoC.

You're supposed have a line break after every few words, not after every few goddamn letters.

As for my own style, I tend to place each line or two on a separate line with a break in between, as in this post.

I think this way is the only way to show paragraphs. After all, there's no easy way to indent every paragraph other than using spaces or what have you.

    It's just a pain.

KoC is just trying to mimic calandale, like a fanboy, its almost sad really. I bet he would grow a mustache, if he could.

                    posts                                        they
          at                                                  all

              my                                        pure

My posts tend to contain (over )long sentences, employing the use of dashes - such as these - and colons: these allow many ideas to be conveyed in the same sentence without overusing commas (although I do use brackets occasionally to elaborate on them). In many occasions where it is not necessary to add further details, commas, such as these, space my sentence in a way that emulates natural speaking.

When it comes to the the layout of the posts, I
honestly cannot understand how people find
this way of posting easier on the eyes. I think it's
the exact opposite and it makes me feel neurotic.
It sort of breaks flow. Usually it just makes me give
up on trying to read the message, which can make
the discussion somewhat confusing when other
people read the post(I don't know how the hell
you manage to do it) and take it's content into ac-
count when they continue the discussion.

Usually short posts that don't have much reason and arn't overly intelligent like others in the forum. Mostly crude with a "****" here and there and probably talking about getting smashed at the weekend. *smiley sometimes inserted here*

I may also have something written at the end, usually a break after the bulk of the post.
