Well, I recently got a political tract in the mail. It was a from woman who'll be running in the parliamentary elections in my circonscription, urging me to vote for her. In it, she says all sorts of things, like who she's such a nice person (with a happy family of four kids and a husband) who wishes me a world of good, but also stuff about taking the country forwards and all the usual stuff which tells me she supports market liberalisation and privatisations. But you know what was funny? The tract was posted about three minute's walk away from where I live. It was entrusted to a private company, who then wasted time and ressources taking it about two hundred kilometres North, then bringing it back down and into my mailbox.
Needless to say, I won't be voting for her.
