Post some random cool pictures you've taken with your camera.

Maybe we can have a vote to see who has the coolest pictures.

Here's a few of mine...

That is 5 minutes in photoshop.
If there's anything photography class taught me was that any photographer is great once taught the 'shop.
Still some good photos there.

At the zoo. Animals always make a good picture

Do I look like i care?

Do you all know Istockphoto?:

If you take good photographs (Zay!), you can make money.
You need to pass a test of knowledge about photography.
It takes a while, but then you can upload your pictures and make money if companies buy them.

Woot! Cool topic.

Sadly, when going through my thousands of pictures I didn't find as many as I should have. Only these:

Friend playing tai chi and posing. School assignement.

Another friend posing. Same assignement.

Another friend posing, still same assignement.

My balcony last summer. It was awesome. Those things actually grew from the ground floor, up against the wall, up into my balcony, completely covering the table there, and then grew in through my door.

Jihad. Allah akbar! Friend playing insurgent.

5 minutes in photoshop well spent.

Quite an old one, but I haven't shown it before: A stereogram of the computer desk. To see it in its glorious 3 dimensions, cross your eyes until the two merge.

lol @ the banana fusion.  If someone can figure out what that is, let me know.  My guess is they're parts of the wick.

@ Simo: Very nice pics.  I guess you're someone else that knows how frustrating capturing pics of butterflies can be.

None of my pictures have been edited at all, other then changing the size of them.

@ Adorno: Thanks for telling me about that site.  I'll have to check it out later.

@ Silver: nice pics. Where is that 3rd one taken at? I like that building in the background.

@ Cymro: Thats really cool. I've always been a big fan of 3D pictures.

Oh yes.. The bastards won't stay in one place long enough to take a picture. Then they move so that you have to turn to it's other side and suddenly you notice that you cast a shadow on it and it flies away.

It's taken in Stockholm, the old part of town. There's been a church there since the 13th century, but it's burned down and been built up again several times. The one in the picture is from the 18th century. The insides are pretty impressive as well.

All I'm getting out of this is a headache.
Do I have to print it Cymro?
Yeah, it's like learning to ride a bike - once you do it the first time, your immediate reaction is "Why couldn't I do this the first time?". It might help to stand further away from the monitor - 2m or so, then get closer.

I'm going to try a 3d plant when my batteries charge.

EDIT: Time to jump on the wildlife bandwagon. Click to enlarge:

A bumble bee on a flower.

An interesting flower. Not very high resolution though.

A coot, sitting there looking all adorable. All together now: Awwwww.

Aneurin, The Black Wyrm of Ceredigion. Okay, it's a slow worm.

Angle-y ones:

A wheel in Cardiff at New year.

A metaphysical representation of the struggles that we endure in our everyday lives, making us seem small and in-*thwack*  A fence.

EDIT2: Photobucket has a built in photo editor now for adding text, decorating it, resizing, hue, contrast, smooth, sharpen etc.

Very nice angle/photo. Beautiful

From a museum in Florence:

No, these are not   flowers, but shells arranged to look like flowers

Baby owlies in my trees!  They've been there (after leaving their nest) for over 6 weeks now; these pictures are about 3 weeks old.

Nice photo, Saber. The one on the left looks a tad drunk to me

Here we have a juvenile woodpecker, who I have named Edward* for the time being. He comes to feed on those nuts every day, chasing off anything in the process.

Another one of those crazy stereograms, but with a lot more depth range within a small place. It may help to stand further away as it's a large picture..

*Edward. Edwood. See? Eh? Eh? No?
