Looking for a line inf NA regiment that has events convenient for PST and that can be flexible on weekly attendance. I live in CA and have inconsistent availability for events, but am interested in participating in regiment play. Average/capable in both melee and musket.

Would appreciate any suggestions for potential regiments.

MEMBERS OF THE MOUNT&BLADE: NAPOLEONIC WARS COMMUNITY,

I would like to take a moment to extend an invitation to you in considering membership within the 1. Ostpreussische Infanterie. I believe the 1st East Prussian Infantry Will Cater to the Atmosphere you may be looking for in NW.  Established as the first North American regiment in 2010, the 1st East Prussian Infantry sets the standard for structure, discipline, and etiquette within the community, fighting as a premier Prussian Line Infantry unit. The 1st East Prussian Infantry was the first to establish and effectively perform accurate Napoleonic era Line dril, and we have been very influential in how regiments are structured and run ever since. Many people look to the 1st EPI for the example of "How to do things," and we pride ourselves in our High standards for excellence.

We have been formed to accurately represent a Prussian Line Infantry Battalion of the Napoleonic Era, and you will not find a better regiment in the community that does that.  In order to perform in as accurate as a manner possible we took field manuals of the era and have adapted them to work in game.  Unlike most regiments on the field, you WILL NEVER see the 1st East Prussian infantry Snaking around in those columns and playing follow the leader. All of our Movements are done in two ranks, and column movements and wheels are always performed correctly.

The 1st East Prussian Infantry Train and Participates in Line-Battles often, and provides a training/linebattle opportunity that can easily work into a busy schedule :  on Tuesday, a Linebattle is held at 8pm Est for all North American Players.  On Thursday, the primary North American training is held at 8pm Est.  on Friday, we hold our North American Linebattle at 9pm Est.  On Saturdays, we hold our Prussian Army Linebattle at 8pm Est.  That is a LOT of events, and members are not expected to attend all of them.  However, activity is encouraged, and we like to see our members as often as we can.

We place great emphasis on practicing accurate military structure and tactics of the Napoleonic Era. Among our ranks will be found no self-proclaimed generals leading handfulls of privates, but rather meaningful structure based on the size of our unit. Furthermore, we are committed to developing and practicing tactics of the period (with regard to practicality and feasibility in the setting of NW), to a level unrivaled by any existing Regiment. For these purposes, we are looking for intelligent, humble, and mature recruits willing and able to listen, learn, and contribute.

I hope we have managed to peak the interest of future soldiers into starting a career within the 1st East Prussian Infantry(1stEPI).  If you would like to dig deeper  I highly encourage and invite you to visit our website.  www.1stepi.com, or direct any questions to a member of the regiment.

I wish you luck in your search, and I hope to see a few new eager soldiers in the near future,

Hi everybody!  (knowing the right response to that is a good sign we'll click)

I'm representing a small group of 3-5 guys who'd like to join an easygoing regiment.  Half of us just graduated with our Masters' in History, and the others are pursuing them.  Since we're all moving in different directions, we want to be able to keep in touch, and we all coincidentally love Warband.

So, what we are looking for is a regiment cool with adult members with busy schedules.  We're all interested in organized battles.  Ideally we would form a small detachment of cavalry or something, and fight together while chatting on voip.  Obviously if only a couple of us are available on a specific day we would fall into a larger unit, but hopefully we could maintain our more private comms, while still remaining under regimental command.

Basically our ideal situation would be for the officer in command to send our little group off as harassing dragoons or somesuch.

We are all American, and again it must be emphasized we all either have adult schedules or heavy graduate level coursework.  This would be like a recreational softball league for us more than a die-hard commitment.  Cosequently I figure a larger regiment would be better, the less they would rely on us.

Please either reply or DM me or whatever if any regiments would be interested in recruiting our merry little band of Masters.

Regimental Standards

The 73rd (Perthshire) Regiment of Foot is a regiment that values discipline, but not at the cost of having fun. Although we take our battles and our reputation seriously, we still remember that this is only a game. All that we ask of our members is that they give their best effort, and try to do the 73rd justice in its name. We aim to be respectful, show no tolerance for trolling, and encourage friendship within the community. We are a community that plays a wide variety of games, but first and foremost comes our love of Napoleonic Wars. With three companies that specialize in nearly every aspect of the game (line infantry, light infantry, and cavalry), the 73rd offers diverse opportunities to succeed and enjoy yourself.

23rd Welch Fusilier Regiment Are Recruiting Mature EU

About Us

The 23rd is a UK based Regiment of Foot which welcomes EU players. The 23rd is a disciplined, well organised Line Infantry Regiment, which pushes it's players to be the best they can be. Nothing in the 23rd is mandatory, thought we expect you to show up now and again. Each member is valued, each member has a place, like a well oiled machine we work as a team.

History of The 23rd Welch Fusilier Regiment

The Royal Welch Fusiliers was an infantry regiment of the British Army, part of the Prince of Wales' Division. It was founded in 1689 to oppose James II and to take part in the imminent war with France. The regiment was numbered as the 23rd Regiment of Foot, though it was one of the first regiments to be granted the honour of a fusilier title and so was known as The Welsh Regiment of Fusiliers from 1702. The "Royal" accolade was earned fighting in the War of the Spanish Succession in 1713.

It was one of the oldest regiments in the regular army, hence the archaic spelling of the word Welch instead of Welsh. In the Boer War and throughout the First World War, the army officially called the regiment "The Royal Welsh Fusiliers" but the archaic "Welch" was officially restored to the regiment's title in 1920 under Army Order No.56. During those decades, the regiment itself unofficially used the "Welch" form. The regiment was amalgamated with the Royal Regiment of Wales (RRW) on 1 March 2006, to become 1st Battalion, The Royal Welsh (RRW becoming the 2nd Bn).

The regiment primarily recruited from North Wales. It should not be confused with the Welch Regiment, which recruited from South and West Wales.
