Post-duel dialogue bug (spoilers)

When my companions speak to me following the duel with Reginhard, no matter which dialogue option I choose I end up stuck on a dialogue screen and clicking to continue won't work, making it impossible to play storyline mode past that point.

On a plus-note, I was really enjoying the DLC up to then despite the occasional crash. I'll just have to carry on pillaging in sandbox until the hotfix.

Yea, I've got the same problem as grimmdawg, I just get stuck and cant continue.

I had to fight him 3 times but after the third it stopped

People said this would fix it:
    reach a town and/or a village

    -talk to people in the town/village

    -talk to your own soldiers

    -talk to people in the mead hall

    -by food and/or other items

but it didn't work for me. I've loaded previous saves and tried everything (even kicking my companions out of my party, but they still talk to me lmao?) but nothing works. Game is unplayable because of this impassive and inevitable bug.

Mm, maybe both them, reginhard and egil isnt in your party. One of them need to be in your party.

Well, I added a third option, this should help.

Yeah from my playtesting it seems that sending Egil away was the cause of the problem. Had no problems if I kept him in the party. Would it perhaps be possible to disable sending companions away for story mode? It seems there's a few places in the plot where it has been an issue for people.

Ok, I see the problem then 

I should limit companions promotion to kingdom lords.

You should disable companion dismiss and promotion at all, ruling a kingdom is not important in the story

Small question to related to this as shown in the picture on this post. Who is this Agathinos guy and why is he talking to me? I have never seen him before.

I won the duel and I have bastard still in my group, latest beta from Steam.

Nevermind, I found the answer. I just need to suppress my habit to use cheats.
