Possible Buggery with large(ish) battles

So someone confirm if this is a bug I am seeing or maybe Im tired.... as have been playing this for some 4-5 hours straight


When enountering say a group of 15 whatever pirates...

The attack screen says 15(15) meaning they are all alive and kicking... enter the battle with myself.... eliminate all 15 (no knockouts).... and then when all 15 are dead... it brings me back to the fight screen and shows 15(15) again..... making me fight what seems to be the exact same group over again.


I have had this happen many times... and at first though it was other groups joining the fight... but I doubt the numbers are always the exact same?

One battle I must have fought the same 6 or 7 knights 3 or 4 times.... eventually being beaten out of the fight

A little more play time and I have noticed something similar to this...


Namely when fighting large groups 10-15-20.... or mixed groups...

5 pirates, 10 footmen etc.


They will send the 5 pirates at you... kill em all... then a new battle will start with say 5 footmen... kill em... and then a new battle again with the last 5 footmen.

Essentially giving you 3 battles that look like 3 seperate encounters...

It's because not all troops are fielded at once. So they appear in groups. It is suppose to happen.

Its the batle size slider in options rofl..



put it all the way to the right and you should be fighting all of them at once.

At least it's not actual buggery. That would be no fun at all. Ugh.

Hmm... when I fight, it's a bit different.

I've done small battles.

And the first will show maybe (30/30) enemies.

After, if say I killed them all, I would see maybe (26/26) enemies.

Then say I knocked all those out, I'd see (22/26) enemies.

I've never seen the game only show me a small group when I'm fighting on smallest battle size. It always shows me how many of total are left.

Nah, that's what happens when that group of Kerghits (sp) has their way with you and your band of peasants and militia

hehehe I fight with a difficulty of 107%, with ai on max, damage on max, and the slider all the way to the right... Its hard as hell but like you said, the only way to go.

Even with the battle-size slider all the way you can't fight all the enemies in one battle anyway. You have to have multiple battles no matter what, it's just that those multiple battles are bigger.

well yeah if you have a fight vs 50 people then yeah, but if your fighting 10 river pirates they will all show up with the slider maxed, or atleast thats how it has seemed to me.
