Port to PocketPC?

Just asking.

This game is really addicting in its own way. I find it sometime rewarding during lunchtime to have a couple of river-pirate bashing rounds.

I expect a "No" but I just want to voice this out.

I'd rather see it on a palm pilot, because I happen to own one. But I reckon that either way it's unlikely we'll see it on any kind of handheld platform, unless/until it becomes such a critical success that it gets ported to the PSP. Which I also don't own.

Sure, I have a Pilot, too. (a SJ33) but it is no state-of-the-art so I wonder how it fare.

Current PPC available has a bigger screen (Dell Amix x50V & HP iPAQ4700), graphics accelerator and higher resolution (640x480). Moreover, M$ is porting DirectX to the new PPC OS (dubbed Mobile Windows 5.0), so porting to a PPC may be easier for Windows-based games than other platforms. The above statement is just wild guesses only.

Well, the thing is, I reckon that this game in its current incarnation is far beyond the capabilities of today's handhelds. If armagan makes me wrong, though, I'll eat my hat and then paint myself blue in his honor.
