Because they're distrustful of outsiders and trespassers and there are very few of them left? Seriously, not a hard question.

I've always been a bit confused by the number of people who live in Pendor. By my estimations hundreds of people die in battle every day, over the ~1000 days of a game that puts the number of casualties from this war (which has apparently been going on for years) in the hundreds of thousands. In order to support that there must be millions of people living in Pendor.

I think we can safely file this one away under "acceptable breaks from reality". I mean, would you REALLY like to wait a decade+ in-game to replenish your hyperultraturboelite army after a particularly gruelling battle?

You are going a bit too much into realism, mate

Each Pendorian has nine lives just like a cat. A blessing from Vejovis.

Each Pendorian, upon death, returns as a zombie. A curse from Erida Occisor.

Take your pick.

Always glad to see a new cool update coming for this one, GG!

I've read into 3.9 changelog about the fix for claimant quest; does that mean that the rebellion will be doable in the next version? Cause when I tried it in 3.8 it still bugged out in the end (I remained in rebel faction while all the rest became main faction producing curious results )

Is there a place where one can sign for being a beta tester? Just saying, if ya wanna test things, especially long term changes, I probably am a good choice to pick.

Or you can pick both. After using they nine lives they rise as a zombie.
Additionally to Pendor also comes a lot of refuges, invaders and demons...

Pendor looks small, but its melting pot for everyone fleeing from oppressing powers... barclay, snake cult, demons, you name it.
The only people native are the elves, and they are quite a few of them left. If you take the real forces together, count in the frequent slave trade and the enormous amount of refugees and mercenaries & invading armies that frequent pendor, it doesnt look so small after all. I'd say the average village has a population of around 1000 people, the towns are around 20000 to 40000 people and theres a heavy influx of fighting power from all sides. It would take centuries to wipe such big proportions out. Thats why PoP feels so lively and near to an actual battlefield. Id say theres a total of around 20.000 Elves left in all of pendor, and most are secluded to elacrai, its like a big minas tirith where they all gathered and from where they send their armies out from.

Are you sure about that? I have checked end of this quest and player is switching faction correctly, but relations were set to only neutral, instead of positive.

Well I don't know what happened exactly; it LOOKS like I'm a vassal of the Kingdom of Ravenstern, but faction relations for me are still those of Ravenstern rebels: I'm at war with Sarleon but my supposed faction has made peace a long while ago and when Ravenstern declares war my own relations don't get updated accordingly.

Also King Gregory was made into a vassal of Madame Ursula, but now he has taken his fief and has gone rogue, Poinsbruk has become an independent kingdom tagged as belonging to the "commoner" faction...

Maybe it was just an unlucky bug...

Considering the changes to various troops alone, yes as that type of thing doesn't carry over in old saves from prior versions.

Got the urge to play warbands again, which for me means PoP. Happy to see you are still making changes and updating the mod, great work! I would probably not be playing m&b at all if it weren't for you

I hope you have a approximate date you can share with us all soon, can't wait! Also hope the Fierdsvain units get a buff, in my mind they are bad ass viking warriors, but in reality they mostly die. But they at least look cool =)

Is there a chance that you add some sea travel\ battle or some unique structures on the map to explore or some random or special quests on top of what already exists in the game?

Seeing that every structure in the game must be stationary, sea battles would immediately turn into a mindless brawl. Just look at 1257AD, the battleground consists of several interconnected ships and the troops spawn right next (and I mean literally right next) to each other. Removes any possibility for formations and makes any order except "Charge" useless. I generally avoid those battles and I can't think of a way for the devs to make them more interesting, you just don't have enough space to work with there.

Now for quests, I'd like that. But I remember a post where they said that implementing those would prove very difficult without introducing a myraid of potential bugs. It also would not warrant the effort considering that most players would do them once or twice and then skip them afterwards. I can kinda see that, after you got the reward for those quests (it surely wouldn't be repeatable if the reward is anthing worthwhile) and have experienced the content you'd have little reason to do them over and over again.

Would it be possible to make the Noldor Rune Armor not look like complete crap?

Well for starters, it's not Noldor-made in any capacity. If you are referring to the one that is bronze-colored and has rune markings covering it.

To answer your question, what things look like is objective to each individual. Some might like it, some might hate it. We'll decide what we do when it comes to visual appeal of assets.
