Hello people. I have started this poll to see which companion is the most widely liked. although this may have been done in the past, the search did not turn any results for me that were polls about which character was liked better. and also, it's always good to make a new poll every now and then. anyways, I do hope I haven't forgotten any other people. well, I hope this poll turns out to be popular and informative. don't forget to vote!  I would also like to say, that I will lock the voting on Saturday, June 21, although at what precise time, I will later decide. thank you all.

Klethi, hands down. How can you not like a cheery, happy-go-lucky psychopath? That'd be like kicking a puppy.

My answer - Not Borcha or Marnid.

Those horrible, horrible memories... Getting headshotted by Borcha/Marnid...

My favorites would be Jeremus, Klethi and Lezalit

Lezalit is great because as soon as you get him, you can turn recruits into soldiers really fast. Plus, I tend to also give my companions and myself points in trainer - I can turn 60 recruits into 60 soldiers in one night.

Jeremus is another favorite because of his healing skills.

Klethi has pathfinding.

I suppose Firentis has the most interesting story - the whole redemption for fraticide thing.

Basheshtur is also pretty funny - In his recruitment dialog, I sensed a Lawrence of Arabia reference. "As long as you hill tribes continue to fight each other, you will continue to be a silly, weak people." I lol'd.

i just liked baheshtur from the onset. then when he was saying how much he liked rolf, and why he liked him, i though these two are the ultimate companions.

If I remember correctly, Bunduk seems like a down to earth common guy. Those are the ones I like.
Not the types of Nizar (and others), with his head in the clouds telling my men what to do.
There can be only one leader, and some NPC's seem to think that's their job

Meh, burden on the conscience and a quest for redemption is so cliché.

Maybe, but when Katrin started *****ing at him, I took all her stuff and threw her out. When I met her later, naked in a tavern, I yelled "dance, *****!" and imagined throwing denars at her feet

Oh god, I nearly died. I literally burst out laughing.
On the downside, I now have milk on my screen.
...and glasses.

what? no kidnapped girl?
She's been relieved of her NPC duties, and now act as the lady she is:
eats your food, travels and sleeps for free with your party, can't do anything on the battlefield
and gains experience points without having use for them   A real *****!

Marnid - Because he looks like Pippin, and I laugh every time I talk to him.

The most useful for my style are: Borcha, Lezalit, and Artimenner

I like Bunduk's attitude, but I always end up running into Lezalit first, and Rolf, and he gets so upset with them it's bad for morale, so I never get far with him.  I quite like Matheld, though.  I've always had a weakness for women who can look afer themselves.  Doubly so if they do it with an enormous axe.

Gotta be Ymira.

A young, sweet and innocent babe, that I can corrupt into becomming a bloodthirsty killer on the battlefield!

Agreed! Women who can kick ass are hot, besides Matheld is already easy on the eyes.

My favorite is Bunduk. He seems like the kind of right hand man that every great captain needs.

I also try to pick up Artimenner, since he reminds me of my grandfather.

Ymira-

As a commander of a thousand battles and rules of many provinces, I find it necessary to give my soldiers 'entertainment' while off duty, if you know I mean. its good for morale.

What?

Ymira plays chess?

Who would've thought!
