I'm sorry but, nope.Gab-AG. said:I guess those who want this feature really want to show off. ^^

I remember very well that discussion, but unfortunately I don't know a very good way to filter well, but I want see a filter with this potential. Would be awesome if TW could do this type of filter.Gab-AG. said:Jostino said:This is not what I meant, it was like a way to filter good players and let them to partecipate to in-game tournaments with a cool tournament system.

This reminds me of a huge discussion we had long time ago about this very point. I remember someone suggesting this already, and we talked about how this 'filtering' would work. How do you judge a good player from a bad player?
Do you want to perhaps use K/D? Well maybe the player is very skilled in melee combat, yet whenever he plays on a multiplayer server he gets, for example, always shot down by some archer and never manages to get in close combat, so his K/D is ruined, even though he's a very good player.
I have yet to see a reasonable suggestion about 'measuring skill', because such is impossible. There is no -accurate- way existing to measure one's skill, since countless factors are involved, which cannot be quantified. If you come up with a good idea to 'filter' accurately good players from bad players, I'll support you.

I won't continue that discussion for sure, but I like reward system and I would see a good filter that can separate skilled player to make awesome tournaments.
I hope to had explain well what i mean.
CS'S system is good enough, could be interesting to see how it works on Bannerlord.Gab-AG. said:Jostino said:I remember very well that discussion, but unfortunately I don't know a very good way to filter well, but I want see a filter with this potential. Yeah I understand perfectly what you mean. I don't mind a reward system, I'd actually like it as well since it adds more progression to the game and it's always a plus for me, however I'd like see a good idea about filtering good and bad players in order to join competitive matches, cause perhaps it wouldn't be so nice for a good player to be deemed as bad because the system is flawed.
Maybe it could be somewhat like Counter Strike. After a specific 'rank' anyone can join a competitive match, and the more matches you win, the more you raise in rank, or something like that.

First off their blocks do 270 degrees instead of only one directing like an infantry player. There are many times where you can stab a horse in the head with a spear and the shield, behind the horse's head, blocks it anyways. This also happens if a horseman jumps over you and you stab the horse in the stomach. It's blocked... from the other side of the horse...
You. I like you.MadVader said:Ranks and ability to buy them with real money, like in real history.
Also, microtransactions that allow players to fly for five minutes.
It seems the first part is more of a mechanic than a quirk. But the second half should indeed be fixed with the new engine.Lord Rich said:Pretty sure they built a new engine from scratch so would be surprised if some of the odd quirks were continued like that.
But yes it's annoying.
