Can we please make a complaints channel and move all these whiners there im getting sick of seeing all this negative **** when im browsing around looking for interesting things people have discovered about the game.

I think you don't understand that the whole point of EA is to let people 'whine' so that the game may improve.

Most whinners are just inarticulate and unable to go beyond the superficial. Nevertheless, with enough discussions, good ideas can sometimes come out of it. Sometimes. Yes, the noise to signal ratio can be awful. But segregating them is basically as close to burying your head in the sand.

There is a difference between whining and a well constructed criticism. I don't mind a negative opinion when it's to improve the gameplay.

I agree with the idea but if you want to get rid of the negativity on this forum I'd say you're going to have to start with yourself.

Not everyone is articulate enough to do that, but if you dig enough at a whiny post you can usually find the core issue behind it, especially if you let the frustrated player vent over an extended period.

I think Taleworlds and their folks can take a beating. They just released their game after so many were craving for it, and now the public has it, and the public will do what the public does: praise, complain, whine, argue, discuss, suggestions and other stuff.

I’d say some of the criticism people have go beyond feedback into manuals of mechanics and ideas like charlinis threads

I feel like you guys didn't understand my point by reading your responses, I'm not trying to stop complaints, I'm not trying to protect taleworlds from hurtful words, I don't want to stop complaints, I just want them to be organized into a complaints channel so that I can browse the forums for interesting posts without seeing post after post of inarticulate rage about how things aren't what they expected or this is a scam or questions that literally don't make sense like "when will i be able to play the game?"

Its bad enough that I have to see it in multiplayer, the arguement for constructive criticism doesn't hold water either because, the developers can literally go to the complaints channel and see issues, I see absolutely no reason for there not to be a complaints/criticism channel.

I'm not going to hide my reasons, I am physically repulsed by whiners IRL, and their posts are basically spam.
I would rather have the well thought out critics shoved in with the ignorant ones, then have the entire forum turn into the mess it's trending towards.

Can anyone give me a single reason not to create a complaints channel on the forum? I haven't seen anyone address that actual point.

I've been playing mount and blade since it was alpha and you literally bought it on a little pop up when you opened the game, I personally see alot of issues with the game in it's current state but I'm trying to enjoy it and give constructive criticism where I can, but it's kind of ruining the experience for me to see all this boo hooing as if we didn't all beg and demand they release it way earlier then they wanted.

If people aren't happy about how the development is handled, they'll complain. The way TW managed this whole thing since 2015 deserves those so called "empty complaints", what's the main thing people complain about? It's basically a barebones game. Can you make a "well-thought" criticism about that? No, the game is empty and they're working to fix exploits and show no communication about when a patch with content will come out. Now, you "complain" about that and some fanboys are going to be "repulsed", that can't be helped. Like it or not, complaints are feedback, too.

For your "well-thought" offer of making a different channel; who will decide if it's "constructive criticism" or someone simply ranting about the game? Won't that require mods to go through every topic and decide which ones should be moved? That could easily be abused, especially considering the experience I had with a particular mod. What if there's a bit of both, will they edit the post just because someone like you doesn't want to read a sentence about someone's disappointment? You're not asking for removal of "spam", you're basically asking to create a trash section for all the posts that are written by displeased players. Try to sugarcoat it all you want but that's basically what you're suggesting.

Also, I am physically repulsed by blind fanboyism IRL, and their posts are basically spam. "TW is the best" comments are equally spam when compared to "TW is the worst", remove them all.

"it's kind of ruining the experience for me to see all this boo hooing as if we didn't all beg and demand they release it way earlier then they wanted."
If a company starts teasing a game 5 years prior to their barely serviceable EA version, they'll get complaints buddy. Most of the fans didn't "rush" anything, They teased us for 5 years in gameshows and we asked for a release date, that's all, It's their incompetence after showing the nerve to give us this joke after 8 years and so far, not showing any signs of competent and well managed development. First it was "There won't be EA", Then "There'll be an EA but it'll be near complete", But don't dare to complain about it. Yeah.. Right.

I paid full price for an unfinished product.

A game in early access requires "whining" (as feedback) so it meets customer satisfaction by full release.

Bannerlord is a good game but in its current state is packed with issues and missing features and even downgrades from Warband in some aspects.

It needs alot of work, and this means alot of whining so these things get looked at by the devs, who appear to be working very hard.

People will whine in EA. They will whine after launch. They will whine after MnB BL is dead.

They whine about government, restaurants, schools, music, anything.

I guarantee you can make the most compelling reason in the world with the voice and reason of Tywin Lannister why people should stop whining, and people will still whine.

It is just better to accept it. Its the internet.

Sounds like a you problem tbh.

I mean, your point brought me to the brink of an brain aneurysm but that doesn't mean I'd want you to be put out of sight or silenced.

You will never find the really good stuff on the fly anyway so how much else do you want to be put away so you don't have to gaze upon them my liege?

In general, you saying these things seems very ironic.

And here you are, with your own whining thread.

I feel like most people understood your point perfectly, and they are also right when calling you a whiner, because you are.

The normal whiners, they have a cause, or something legit, to complaint about. Their complaints have a target, or a purpose, and that could make the game better. But yours don't. Your complaint is pointless, and serves no purpose.

Edit: As for the reason to not have a complaint sub forum, well, there're already the suggestion sub forums. If people aren't using them and just post on general forums, what make you think they'd use a sub forum called "complaint", which serves the same purpose as suggestion sub forum but with extra dose of personal attack toward the users?

There's lotsa times I try to make constructive feedback, but then there are times I just gotta say they ****ed something up, no nicer way to say it. Especially when the something was okay and nobody cared about it and then somebody purposefully changed it and caused a big problem. In general I think a lot of complaining is okay and can get the point across at a glance that some things are very unpopular or very disruptive to many players.
You can make a suggestion thread about perks that don't work, but they know they don't work so it's actually more effective that every player, when discovering that most perks don't do anything (still) make a thread about how annoyed they are.
