Some quick screens. Only a few are fantastic, in my opinion. No combat scenes, here  :???:

Jocularis,

If then you make a backup of your Native folder and rename the P.L. mod folder to  Native you can play it in multiplayer without any problems as I'm actually doing.

Good Luck

Thanks all!
Thank you
Now M&B looks even more photorealistic than Stalker or Crysis.
Shame on developers of clumsy, hyped and expensive game engines!

Added PL to Rus XIII and Berserk, works well (no bugs for few hours of gameplay).
In Rus XIII I enjoyed hunting some bandits and fighting cavalry battles in dense forests and bushes. It was veeeery intresting and immersive, with limited visibility.
And no any significant fps drop.
Awesome mod.  No, more than awesome.
And that early spring mood everywhere, it's just fantastic. I almost feel atmosphere.

Hy! This sounds great, but I can´t make it run with RUSXIII
I wonder how you made it work? Please can you tell me steps to make this graphic-mod work with RUSXIII?

Hey guys, I've been trying to incorporate this into my Rus XIII mod, without much success.
I've read up on as much I can find, followed the steps as closely as I can imagine, but when I get to the launch screen it freezes while reading reading the .ini file.

I get a window stating:
RGL ERROR
attempt to reregister steppe_tree_a

Anyhow, the default PL_Test works fine, and I've been trying to compare the .ini files to find any mistakes.
Would be terribly thankful for any help around this.

-Fixed, thanks to Josef_the_Pretender

I have done the same than you, how is going the combined mod for you? looks awesome but unfourtenately, it gives to me a lot of "vertex buffer erros", whish makes bigger ctd after biggers battles

Sorry for the dumbness but how do you take a screenshot and where is it found? i've tried Print screen, F11 and F12 because they were in my mind, but they didnt work. /thx

I succeeded in combining it with Lords and realms and I dont see why it coudn't work with Rus either

This is how I did it

1: copy resource textures and sceneobj to your module folder
2: now we get to the editing part. open the module file for Rus with notepad.
3: Now add or edit the entries shown in the polished landscape ini witch read load_mod_resource =  in the spoiler below

Wholy this is warband. Great textures. One question though does this fix the lag in forrest areas or does it make it worse in native ??

That's the way to do it. One problem though. Did you managed to install it with Gutek's fog? I can put PL in L&R or Native Expansion ect. but I have no fog then (when I've put PL into ordinary Native there is a proper fog). I'm a greenhorn when it comes to modding M&B and have not much idea of modding mission templates, like Gutek described in #1 post, to have a proper fog. Anyone can help, please?

Jocularis,

look instructions on my previous post on this page.
If then you make a backup of your Native folder and rename the P.L. mod folder to  Native you can play it in multiplayer without any problems as I'm actually doing.

Good Luck

no way, i get the error:

Unable to open file: commonRes\costumes_a.brf

looking at the folder, in effects, that file misses. Where can i get the Costumes_a.brf? in Warband the file costumes are b-c-d, not a. What i can do? Seems that Common Res are different from Mount&Blade basic and Warband, and in the PL file there is no trace of a Common Res folder....

i havent the HDR mod, may change something? and if yes, where can i get that mod?

thanks for help!

The fog is scripted by python with witch I have zero experience sadly. So lets hope for a friendly modder to do it for us

One thing though. I keep getting a lot of ctd's in battles big and small anybody else get these ?

Seems to be a few probs on certain mods reading through the posts, I got it working fine with Britain at war but no go with Fury of Odin, double checked the ini changes but it's still unable to find stuff on start up, oh well, problem is I only feel like playing mods where I can apply polished landscapes at the moment

New clean Installation of Warband 0.650 may solve the problem if you then copy correctly the files but you don'thave to tuch the common res.
I think you can apply HDR mod only to  Mount&blade  not to Warband as this already has the HDR option.
By the way you can easily find this mod looking in the pioneer guild mod lists.
