Use this, it works perfectly. I didn't copy the village files though, none of the scene files in fact (because I don't know what has been changed In the Floris mod)

how did you get this to work with floris extended?

I tried doing what was posted in the first post but the game would load then crash with an error of something missing

Use this, it works perfectly. I didn't copy the village files though, none of the scene files in fact (because I don't know what has been changed In the Floris mod)

meaning I didnt copy any of the files from the SceneObj folder, Id didnt overwrite anything in tho mod I think... which means any files that would overwrite were in that folder
 
I tried adding this mod to Floris using both the steps in the first post and the steps posted on this page and the game tells me that it cannot load \Resource\skyboxes.brf.  This file isn't even in the folders for any mod.

now it says it can't load flora_mod.brf or something
 
Then you have to move any changed lines to the end of the file. Do you have teh load textures on demand checked at launcher?
 
everything that was changed or added I moved to the bottom of the file, and load on demand is selected

load_mod_resource = flora_mod
load_resource = town_houses_e

load_mod_resource = env_materials
load_mod_resource = map_tree_meshes
load_mod_resource = particle_meshes

load_mod_resource = xtree_meshes

I tried again with a new install of Floris and just followed these steps and didn't do anything on the first post of this thread and it's giving me the same flora_mod error before moving the changed files and after moving the changed files

You guys might just want to wait for the next release on Floris mod pack. PL and Custom Commander will be added/included. Also a lot of weapon and troop tweaking.

This guy made a great combo of visual mods: http://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?id=2239 which also works

Trees look much better in that submod IMO.

So all to do is copy everything from the "Native" folder to your Floris mod folder EXCEPT the SceneObj folder and module.ini file (you will have to edit manually by instrucions from above

Am I supposed to have a flora_mod.brf file in my resources folder?  It keeps telling me that it can't open it and there is no such file in my folder or in the .rar for the mod.

edit:  I moved some lines around in the .ini file and it seems my game keeps looking for either flora_mod.brf in the resource folder, or skyboxes.brf when it crashes depending on which i make load first.
 
After installing this mod (and applying the patch for version 1.131) some towns and building interiors seem to be very bugged. So far I've seen this occurring in all Rhodok towns, here are some screens. In Native things seem to be working fine, and I have PL installed in it too! (I installed it a few months ago using the workaround, when it was still exclusively for the original M&B).

Have you tried reversing the two lines I made bold? Thus you'd get:

load_resource = town_houses_e
load_mod_resource = flora_mod

Also, you should have indeed a flora_mod.brf in your resource folder when you load it. It's included in that graphical boost pack cyx mentioned.

And cyx: I love your screens and the slide show :mrgreen:.
 
I'm really confused: I've tried to follow the installation instructions but a) I can't install M&B WB anywhere different because it is all controlled by Steam, and B) I can't find any M&B WB system folders, let alone the MOD folder to unzip this MOD into.  This mod looks amazing.  I'd love to be able to play it.
 
Ah, ignore me, I found it.  For anyone else struggling to find the folder it's in Program Files > Steam > Steam Apps > Common.
 
Hello i try to install polished lanscapes with the open source project(diplomacy+custom commander, but at the launch when he is launching setting data, i have a error message like that: get object failed for mesh yellow...

I have seen that a lot of people have this sort of problem. Maybe someone can post his module.ini files in order for me to resolve this issue. Or maybe it's a problem with data who are not compatible with PL.

Getting the same shiz in all towns I've been to so far bar one. Buildings are fubar just like in photon_man62's pics and people are spawned in the middle of them.
Installed latest version of the mod with the fix for ground rocks to my Native Warband to play with old saves, so circumstances are a bit different. Using Steam.
Tried searching around to see if the answer was already out there. Search harder? Any remedies? What's the sceneobj fix?

EDIT: forgot to mention, for some reason, that I had the same issue. That fix seems to have solved it for me. Not been absolutely everywhere yet, though. There is one oddity, theres a tavern with a few trees in it, can't remember where currently. But at least there's no shifting of models all over the place.
