I always get the error

1. Copy all resources to Resources.
2. Copy all textures and paste to Textures.
3. Copy files from SceneObj to SceneObj (your mod).
3. Copy and paste scene props, particle systems and module.ini to your mod.
4. Copy embseries and paste to game directory.

Alright. Firstly, those screenshots, and what I was able to see of your mod are truly stunning, major kudos for the graphical work!
However

I could not for the life of me get some of the textures to show up in game ( good old blazing white as shown and described in earlier posts). After extensive trial and error work, I was simply not able to get this 100% functional, so I decided to remove it until further updates. And that's where I realized I would need to post about this... I am truly baffled. Even when running M&B out of a new installation, in a new directory, I still get white texture-less walls, carts and piles of, well, something... It isn't my save files, I opened some from before I installed this, no dice.

Here's what I cant seem to get rid of:



I love your work! but I've GOT to figure out whats going on... The error is quite likely on my end, but I was sure I followed that readme as closely as I could interpret.
Swadian, what was your workaround? Maybe that would help out here...

OK, don't know what that was all about, but I re-downloaded again, made the same copy and paste again, and It worked. Back to default, hallelujah! Dare I try to install this again? 0.o

?



Thomas-> it's not compatible with old polished buildings mod, so after reinstalling it works:smile:

I have the new version, but something appears with white (noot all walls, only few parts and siege tower)

I added the following lines becouse i want to load this from my mod.

load mod resource = castle a

and removed

load resource = castle a
 
well i had the same problem but i solved it by putting:

load_mod_resource = gutek_textures
load_mod_resource = gutek_materials
load_mod_resource = gutek_houses
load_mod_resource = gutek_particles

before "load resource = castle a" and "load resource = castle b" (by the way those resources are already in the module.ini)

So you just have to search for "load resource = castle a" using the search function in a text editor and the add the gutek's resources on top.
Or you could also add them just after "load resource = textures"

the problem of Walmarx  is about video card and DirectX version.

my little naptop is also like this,  and it's with Intel 965 series integrated  & DirectX7.
but on my desktop with 7300GT, it's all OK.
 
Ahem, I'm having really hard time installing this. I've tried to read the readme dozens of times but the instructions just don't make any sense to me. Could some one please explain me the whole process step by step so I don't have to uninstall-install Mount & Blade any more after failed install attempts. I'm sure that there are some other users aswell who would benefit from step to step guide.
 
I haven't seen any previous posts in this thread concerning my specific error, so I'll put it out there in hopes of someone fixing it. After loading the Polished Buildings pack, the building layouts in some cities are completely broken and in disarray. Open gaps between buildings, walkways underneath the ground itself and hanging objects obstruct my gameplay. I followed the instructions to the letter and have recopied the files to my module folder several times. Has anyone else experienced this and/or knows how to remedy it?

I am running the Advanced Troop Tree mod with OSP Helms and Unique Armoury, Panoramic Mod, Better Faces, Siege Ladder Addition, Calradia Map Makeover, War Cry and Cries of War Soundpack, Graphical Enhancement and Standard Weapons upgrade project with a ton of text tweaks.
